Menu

Bis.Co.Latte is New York City’s only handmade biscotti bake shop and café. We strive to provide an oasis of calm in the heart of Midtown Manhattan's busy Hell's Kitchen neighborhood.  Our European-style independent café/bakery is highlighted by neon lighting with modern Italian colors and stylish marble tables.

We offer a unique continental breakfast with a variety of house-baked items and light lunch and dinner fare. Our selection of baked goods starts with a wildly extensive variety of biscotti. We also bake delicious English-style and whole wheat scones and the ever rotating seasonal menu of muffins, cupcakes and brownies that change daily. For breakfast we offer savory frittatas (a pastry square), bread baskets, and unique flavor combinations of steel-cut oatmeal. Our signature lunch offerings feature artisanal risottos and a variety of house-made soups of the day. Like our biscotti, our offerings are freshly made, utilizing unique and creative flavors along with a variety of colorful and healthy legumes and vegetables. The entire menu is available throughout the day in-house and take-out, including over 100 varieties of our signature biscotti by the pound.

Love it. I'm a municipal worker in the area and this place is the bees knees in my opinion. Nice people, good coffee, and of course slammin' biscotti.

I don't care if it's healthy, I care if it's tasty. Bis.Co.Latter manages to do both. The orange blossom and currant biscotti was life affirming, and everything else I've tried was superior quality.

Lovely neighborhood cafe. Great atmosphere. They don't like technology so don't take any phone calls and don't bring your laptop. And don't stay too long. But it's often very crowded and has a really lovely decor. But come for a little coffee or sweet and you will have a lovely time. Great neighborhood hangout.

THE WORST! Get this; You're relaxed and feeling good and you enter what seems a nice mom & pop cafe. You want to have a change from SB. You sit and take out some papers and laptop. Ready to order. All seems fine. Then the server tells you that laptops are not allowed. Excuse me? what? "there's not even wifi".she says. Okay that's cool. I don't need wifi. I just need to access some files so I can work and not be trapped in my office on such a gorgeous day. Still not allowed. Why? "We want you to relax". I am perfectly relaxed thanks. "Sorry sir you cannot have a laptop on the table. I'm so so sorry". You look and see a sign that says no laptops and no cellphones. You look around some more astonished and losing your good feeling and see cellphones on every table top and people using them. You point this out and the answer is "we don't want people talking loudly". Okay that good too. But I am not talking at all on my laptop. What gives here??? "Sorry sir you cannot have a laptop on the table. I'm so so sorry". So the 'relaxation policy' has the three A's: arbitrary, asinine and aggravating. I walked in fine and relaxed and left tight and pissed for no actual reason. Stay away from this one at all costs.

Nice cafe and nice books to read, but should have more than just one dollar sign, as it is quite pricey.

Actually, I kind of love how this place FORCES you to get off the internet and checking your phone and technology in general. No devices allowed here, so bring a book, get a pot of coffee and some biscotti to dip your coffee in. I love the variety of biscotti. My favorites are the classic (hazelnut or almond combinations with chocolate), but the peanut butter and jelly one was also a stand-out.
