‪#‎InclusiveTalent‬ Finally meet our panel moderator: Katherine Tersago

"Katherine Tersago is a program and change consultant focusing on digital, operational and organizational improvements.

She started her career as an IT consultant working for several start-ups and IBM’s global services team, focusing on web and collaborative software. She then joined Zurich Insurance Company where she established a knowledge management practice, headed Group Online Marketing through the design and execution of a global internet strategy and honed her change management skills running various global change initiatives.

An avid supporter of meritocracy, Katherine has been actively involved in addressing issues around women in leadership and valuing diversity since 2000. She started a “women in leadership” mentoring program, chaired Zurich Insurance’ Women’s Network for two years and designed a change program to tackle increasing diversity in the leadership pipeline.

A Belgian American living in Switzerland, Katherine is fluent in English and Dutch, and speaks conversational German. Her book on professional resilience “The Right Response” is available through Amazon. Find out more at www.tersago.com."

"Yulia Myronova is a Senior Knowledge Analyst Telecom, Media and Technology at The Boston Consulting Group, Russian Federation. In her current role, Yulia supports cases, helps client teams to identify and develop specific industry knowledge, having a specific focus on Telecom; Middle East and CIS – Technology and Media.

Yulia has a strong, varied background, with particular expertise across technology and innovation; stemming from project management, product developments, through to research and development.

In addition to her main career position and non-profit activities, Myronova, also pursues personal business endeavours, most recently co-founding Innovative Techno Cluster “VDNH Tech”, Ukraine."

"Dr. Ella Salome Roininen is Director of the Institute for International Management, Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences Switzerland, and a lecturer of Gender Equality, Diversity and Organizational Dynamics in a number of universities internationally. She has a doctorate from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.

Ella has worked and studied in multiple countries, her recent experience including eight years at IBM Switzerland managing global teams, and teaching diversity at MBA courses in South India. Ella is particularly interested in gender equality in working life and cultural representations of gender.

Ella wants her students to be aware of and challenge the identities and norms placed upon us, to learn how gender is wrapped into organizational cultures, how difference is constructed in our social environment, and how to manage equal working groups.

Ella’s goal is to empower women and young students to take the space that belongs to them, so that they can live out their full potential and increase equality around themselves. "

"Dr. Maria Dubovitskaya is a Research Staff Member at IBM Research - Zurich working on designing cryptographic protocols for privacy protection and applying them in practice. She recently gave a TED@IBM talk on privacy-preserving authentication technologies (http://bit.ly/1TZQnhS). Maria holds a Ph.D. in cryptography and privacy from ETH Zurich and has been granted several patents in the security field. She is a co-founder of IBM Technical Excellence Council R/CIS and a recipient of the 2012 Anita Borg Change Agent Award for promoting science and tech for young girls."

"Chloe Stevens is a Site Reliability Engineer at Google working on the reliability of Google products such as Gmail and Calendar, currently based in Zürich, Switzerland. In the office, she also runs the “Gayglers” (Google’s resource group for LGBT employees) and facilitates courses to promote diversity in the workplace. She has prior experience at Google working as a Software Engineer in Datacenter Software and Search Ads, and at University of North Carolina Greensboro as a research assistant. She graduated from Swarthmore College with Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science."
