Started with the mushroom bisque, it was decent. I also had the aged strip, and half of it was edible, while the other half was filled with gristle and fat. The potatoes were plain with no flavor. The best thing was the complimentary flavored fries with different sauces. Not worth it.

Today was my first time eating here. Let me say the food was delicious. Great set up for breakfast buffet as well as the quality. Our server Adrian was friendly and providing such great customer service. I haven't gone to restraunt in a long time with great service like that. Will definitely go back again.

Went here for brunch. It was good and prices very reasonable. It didn't hurt that we used our Living Social voucher as well.Nice setting. I got blood orange mimosas that I enjoyed along with the Crab cake Benedict which was delicious. There carrot cake-pancakes weren't bad just thought maybe if they added a cream cheese icing drizzle to it would've definitely brought it home.Overall the food was good.My company enjoyed their meals and cocktails as well but the consensus was that although we had a pleasant waiter the service was a bit slow.

Two words- Michael Mina. Four more- Truly modish and elegant. Eight extra- 10 year anniversary was sensational, props to Arcadia. With this chic and modern restaurant, I have to give props to Michael Mina for constructing one of the most sophisticated dining scenes in the South Bay. Looking through I noticed almost every dish on the menu has a tongue- in- cheek name. It made me that more intrigued. Duck Fat Fries, Glazed Pork Belly,Truffle mac and cheese, Maine lobster pot pie and a handful of high end steak options. From Filet Mignon to American Wagyu. You can also add bone marrow, a butter-poached lobster tail, or select from more than half a dozen sides. Not in the mood for meat? No worries you can opt for fish. I guess that the carnivore in me wasn't up for it so I ended up ordering Grilled Sturgeon which consists of potateo salad and crisp leek caviar butter. I have to say the fish was cooked perfectly. I also have to give Kudos for their Duck Fat fries, beautifully executed and perfectly seasoned. Cut to just the right size and the duck fat added a very rich flavor to the potatoes. I also noticed Arcadia isn't confined to just dinner but also incorporates breakfast and lunch. Celebrating a 10 year anniversary is kind of a big milestone. I am very glad I wound up at Arcadia to make it that more memorable. *Cheers to the next ten*

(Sigh...) The Michael Mina name sets expectations high, but Arcadia leaves so much to be desired. The menu features basic steakhouse fare- featuring items from many other MM restaurants such as the tuna tartare and famous lobster pot pie. The tomato salad was barren of juicy heirloom tomatoes and featured a burrata sans the typical creamy decadence. The gourmet play on poutine was too salty to even finish (and I hate leaving food on the plate). Also, gourmet and poutine should never be uttered in the same sentence... Service was attentive and friendly. The search for quality restaurants in San Jose continues!

Ambiance was very good. Side dishes were good. Wine services were good. But a high end steakhouse needs to first know how to cook their steak. This place doesn't understand steak. Cooking a steak for me only takes 30 seconds or so; searing every corner without blackening it in high heat. Blue (boody rare) steak without blackening the surface. My steak came out more burnt than even black and blue.

Outstanding food. Good service. Nice ambiance. Kitchen was a bit slow. Difficult to get a table if walking in; sometimes there is space in the bar. Many wines by the glass such as three very different sauvignon blancs of which I tried the Sancerre. Mondays wine bottles are half off; pay for two glasses, get a bottle. Heirloom tomato salad was exceptional and creative, very flavorful; a must-try. The wedge salad looked good. Black cod was delicious, superbly executed. The dessert menu looked like average fare, not creative enough for me to try any. The bill was in error. Will be back!
