Went here for brunch. It was good and prices very reasonable. It didn't hurt that we used our Living Social voucher as well.Nice setting. I got blood orange mimosas that I enjoyed along with the Crab cake Benedict which was delicious. There carrot cake-pancakes weren't bad just thought maybe if they added a cream cheese icing drizzle to it would've definitely brought it home.Overall the food was good.My company enjoyed their meals and cocktails as well but the consensus was that although we had a pleasant waiter the service was a bit slow.

Food tastes good but is really overpriced. Our server didn't even remember to bring me my water until the end of the meal.

The best of Michael Mina crossed with a steakhouse in a open modern environment makes for the best meal offerings in San Jose. Don't miss the duck fat fries. Service is pleasant and efficient. Excellent wine list. Good place for a pre-theatre meal if you're taking in a performance in downtown San Jose.

Sophisticated ambiance, high quality ingredients, poor execution in the kitchen. My steak was a bit dry and overcooked (requested med-rare, provided medium). Prices in general are marked up, with the obvious goal of capitalizing on the the business traveler crowd staying at the connected Marriott and adjacent Hilton hotel. And although the wine list was impressive, the extravagant price mark-up on even average wines just compounded my party's disappointment. Most regrettably, service as a whole was terrible. My party experienced long wait times for food, for delivery of our bill, and even return of our credit cards for closing payment. The staff appeared stressed which could be due to being understaffed on that day or poor management in general.

Ambiance was very good. Side dishes were good. Wine services were good. But a high end steakhouse needs to first know how to cook their steak. This place doesn't understand steak. Cooking a steak for me only takes 30 seconds or so; searing every corner without blackening it in high heat. Blue (boody rare) steak without blackening the surface. My steak came out more burnt than even black and blue.

Outstanding food. Good service. Nice ambiance. Kitchen was a bit slow. Difficult to get a table if walking in; sometimes there is space in the bar. Many wines by the glass such as three very different sauvignon blancs of which I tried the Sancerre. Mondays wine bottles are half off; pay for two glasses, get a bottle. Heirloom tomato salad was exceptional and creative, very flavorful; a must-try. The wedge salad looked good. Black cod was delicious, superbly executed. The dessert menu looked like average fare, not creative enough for me to try any. The bill was in error. Will be back!

This is a great steakhouse, I have been here a few times, and they have great side dishes, and they know how to cook a great steak their. My favorite appetizer there is the Ahi Tuna Tartare, and the ingredients are fresh! The flavors are very balanced and the quail egg on the top adds complexity. I always get a Filet Mignon, but I have tried their New York Strip, and their Ribeye Steak.
