3/22/2015 Today I was in a hurry and stopped to quickly get a salad which I had no such luck because the salad dressing I wanted was not ready yet. I started to get upset but Kris who was working the cashier made me feel better. He offered me a drink and kept assured me that it wouldn't be much longer. Even though he rang up other customers he never forgot about me and quickly finished my salad and apologized for the wait. His customer service was excellent made my experience pleasant.

This fast food style restaurant allows you to make custom salads or pick from some premade options. The price is very reasonable for the quality of food that they serve. The employees are also very efficient; if you know what you want, you can have your salad ready in under a minute. They have seating in the restaurant or you can get your food to go, so it is perfect both for a quick meal or sit-down dining. Sweetgreen is also very committed to its sustainability; they laud their numerous organic and local food options, including organic frozen yogurt. Because it is a salad restaurant, there are plenty of vegan and vegetarian options, especially because you can customize your salad. They also compost their food; they compost their food scraps behind the counter and have a composting trashcan available for customers to sort their trash. Even their containers and cutlery are biodegradable. They use LED and fluorescent lighting and offset all their energy with wind energy credits. All in all, Sweetgreen is a company dedicated to sustainability with food well worth the price.

Sweetgreen is definitely worth a visit. I usually get the salads in wrap form, which makes them feel less intimidating. I don't know why... I wish that their August salad would be a permanent addition: arugala base, mint, cantaloupe, feta cheese, a shot of sriracha, and some lemon-tahini hummus (I think I added the last part myself) I liked it so much that I tried to recreate it at home with my panini maker. So good...

Best salad place in the area. I love how fresh the produce is in the salads. I am a fan of the strawberries and the wide selection of fruit and veggies. I love the balsamic dressing out of all the options to choose from. The best part of this place is the atmosphere it's trendy and chill. The outdoor seating is great as you can people watch everyone walking by. I like the nice slice of bread that comes with the salad as well.

Overall, I think this place is fantastic for a quick salad joint. Their salads are usually very fresh and well prepared. However, today I tried gazpacho and a salad with shrimp. The gazpacho seemed to be swimming in citric acid, and the shrimp tasted as if they had been treated chemically. Perhaps the ingredients were fine and my taste buds were just "off" today. However, I typically eat preservative-free, all-natural foods, so I've become pretty good at detecting when preservatives are included. MOST of Sweet Green's food is great, but my advice: stay away from the shrimp.

It's a bit on the pricy side, but Sweetgreen is my go to lunch spot. With all the buzz around Whole Foods - just 30m away - I find the food at Sweetgreen to be of much higher quality. They're lacking a few critical things – like WiFi and coffee – that prevent me from going there more often. I'd love to go there in the evenings when business is slow to work on my laptop, but WiFi is currently not available. Whether you're an adherent to the locavore movement or not, the rotation of ingredients at Sweetgreen is very much appreciated.
