On a date night with my wife, we had reservations to a restaurant in downtown Willoughby and unfortunately the seat we were given was at the bar, noisy and surrounded by standing people. We decided to leave our table before ordering and walked back to our car wondering where we could go to eat. We contemplated driving to downtown Cleveland then my wife had the idea of going to Noosa! We have been here before with friends but always forgot about it when we wanted to have a date night. We called and put our reservation in and was at the restaurant seated at a private table of our choice within moments of walking in. We ordered a couple of cocktails, and the waitress read us the specials for the evening. I decided to order the strip steak special and my wife got the prime rib. We wanted a salad and our waitress recommended splitting one since it was large enough and they served it split for us. Our timing of the food was perfect and my strip steak was amazing. The prime rib was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the portions were good. Overall, I would honestly say that the strip steak I had at Noosa was hands down, the best steak I have have ever eaten. It was cooked perfect, mid-rare and sat on polenta and fresh lobster meat. We ate there over 3 weeks ago and I am still salivating at the thought of our meal. We also ordered the banana foster for dessert which was very good and the perfect ending to our meal. Although a meal like the one I described here can run you well over $100, the service was great, food was excellent and the atmosphere was romantic. We have officially made this place our romantic date night going forward!

Excellent menu. I really liked the diverse selection of seafood and decided on the nightly special: Ahi tuna atop a corn fritter with spinach and pear chutney which was out of this world - phenomenal. My date chose the Noosa salad which I sampled and it too, was extraordinary. I would highly recommend this restaurant as it has a very cozy, dimly lit interior, impressionable food, and helpful staff. All in all, Noosa left a really good impression on my date and I and we left very satisfied.

Observed Susan ( owner? manager ? ) behaving extremely rudely to patrons. She even called one female the "b" word. Completely unprofessional . Poor atmosphere . Left before we were seated .

I selected Noosa Bistro from a Google search of fine restaurants, Mentor OH. The restaurant followed my instructions to the letter from my phone call to set up the reservations for a special night. The waiter was attentive without being in the way. The wine Noosa preselected for me was excellent. We started with the soup special - Shrimp Bisque. This was easily the best soup to have ever crossed my lips. The main course was the Chilean Sea Bass. There are no words to describe the sensual pleasure of this course. The bass was cooked beyond perfection and the cheese lasagna can't be described. Desert was vanilla creme bruele`. This chef could teach the french about deserts. We asked the waiter to ask the chef to come out. He was humble and I think I saw a tear come to his eye as we praised what was the best meal I have ever had the pleasure of eating.

Waiter barely acknowledged us all evening, water glass rarely had water, food was amazing (had trout and wife had salmon) both perfectly cooked, great flavors, nicely sized portions (not too big or small) will be back! (hopefully will get a different waiter)
