GMail stopped working on my IPhone, so I updated the phone software to the latest to make it work. But Apple in their infinite wisdom decided that because I had updated I was no longer entitled to all my apps, movies and music, which it wiped. The reason: I had updated my laptop since buying my IPhone. It did warn me that my new laptop was not authorised to hold the apps/music/movies whilst my phone was updated. So I authorised it. But no, that didn't work. Goodbye Apple. You just made my decision for me as to whether my next phone will be an IPhone or an Android.
Not only that, but it has wiped my entire contact list and most of my texts!! This is ridiculous. I also just spoke to a friend with an IPhone and he said the same thing happened to him.Sep 7, 2012

Janet and I have iPods, and we've had a few mishaps with those as well. Apple hasn't made it all that easy to manage those things using PCsSep 8, 2012
