Hayatt Hotel was our lifesaver during the quake in Kathmandu. Only being a member at the gym "Club Oasis", is was suprised to see how Hyatt opened up the hotel property for people not even staying at the Hotel. Me, my fellow students at Rangjung Yeshe and somewhat 400 local Nepalis were let in to take cover from the earthquake at the property grounds. Altough many in the staff had lost many family members, they continued to professionally serve others, being calm and polite although the ground was constantly shaking with risk for everyone's life. Distributing food, water, blankets, pillows and so forth, and with a CEO constantly inquiring if the visitors on the grassfield were doing fine was just an amazing experience. Altough I was not a hotel guest in a room, I want to warmly recommend Hyatt for their increadible kindness, service and professional attitude. Our four days in Kathmandu after the earthquake would be very different without you!

The hotel is very comfortable, and the word large is everywhere large room, large TV inside the room, large garden, large swimming pool. the room was very comfortable without noise. I really enjoyed walking in the hotel's garden in the morning. and I was impressed by the main beautiful entrance. For Muslims, beware of breakfast there is also pork, but you can go for other things such as fish, egg, fruits, juices, yoghurt, pastry and dessert.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. It is nice to note that you found the room we had allocated for you to be large and comfortable. We are also happy to read that you were able to enjoy a walk in the hotel’s landscaped garden. Thank you once again for your visit and we look forward to welcoming you again in the not too distant future. Best regards, Sinead O’Reilly Henell General Manager

“Excellent Hotel” This was my best ever stay at a hotel and the longest ever. I've stayed there for 45 nights in a row and can ensure that the level of service I got here is much more superior to the service I had had in other even fancy places around Europe. The personnel is very polite and attentive, they are all the time keeping an eye on you to serve. Amazing! Regarding the facility, it can be the only true resort area for some rest. There is a pool, in the back attended by many foreigners from around Kathmandu. Was said this is one of the two best maintained pools in the city. There is a club with gym and spa. Sauna and the steam is always appropriate for your visit, I enjoyed it!. There is green all around and you feel yourself in another world comparing to what's outside. Definitely! Almost every day there is something in the convention center - receptions, weddings, etc. There is Rox Restaurant there but take care as it is more expensive than the common restaurant. You can have there one of the best double espresso in Kathmandu. Be carefully with the keys, mine were demagnetized at least once a week. There is a shuttle bus from the hotel to the city center 5 or 6 times a day but not way back, only one way, be careful. So, there is a lot to say about it, but you better feel it by yourself. Room Tip: I stayed in the room 450, side yard view, each evening with pigeons at the window, quiet enough

The customer care and marketing manager is simply disgusting. So rude. Somebody should teach then how to talk with customer if they are enquiring something. Such manager should be fired

Located just outside of the perimeter of the Kathmandu city and still able to be in a distance near enough to be back to the city center in about 20 min . It's one of the best hotel in the country .

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. Even though we are just 4 km away from the airport and 5 km from the city center, the tranquil environment we have created with our hotel architecture and ambiance does give our guest a sense of isolation from the hustle and bustle that Kathmandu is now known to be. Thank you for your kind compliments and for regarding us as the “ Best Hotel” in Nepal, that by far is truly the biggest compliment we can receive. Best regards, Sinead O’Reilly Henell General Manager
