Oh! I didn't hear this before! That was the time when the whole media in Egypt was focusing on destroying the ONLY elected president to return back to the time of Pharaohs :(
Lost Egyptian City found underwater after 1200 years - Amazing new discovery of an Ancient Egyptian City Heracleion, who for centuries it was thought to be a legend, a city of extraordinary wealth mentioned by Herodotus, visited by Helen of Troy and Paris, but apparently buried under the sea. It is believed Heracleion served as the obligatory port of entry to Egypt for all ships coming from the Greek world ..  via

I had never seen rainbows before I come to Australia. It's really colourful! :D
The vast Sydney Harbour has 240 kilometres of shoreline - and from this shot it's easy to see why it's commonly referred to as the most beautiful natural harbour in the world. (Photo: www.bridgeclimb.com)

One more crazy animated GIFness from Vivid Sydney...

When +Gerard Blacklock and I moved to the other side of Circular Quay to shoot across the water towards the lit up MCA I had this idea in my mind of long shutter speed shots with smoothed water and the reflections of the bright coloured lights on the water. Whilst it didn’t pan out exactly as I’d envisaged we got a few OK images. I think the main problems here were; the large ferry which moved in and stuck out on the left, the massively bright lobby on the right of the MCA, the shutter probably wasn’t anywhere near long enough to smooth the water and I probably should have used a light grad just to hold down the building lights a little more and let the darker reflections on the water burn in a little more

This years MCA display at Vivid Sydney over the water from the other side of Circular Quay for your edification
