I was looking for a place downtown that could handle a large group at a reasonable cost. BPG was perfect! It was very accommodating to our group and special dietary needs. We were surprised by the high quality of food since it looks like a basic tourist restaurant by the WTC. Their happy hour was great too (2 for 1 beer and house wine)

Pepperoni pizza was fantastic. Pasta with vegetables had a delightful seasoning. Tomatoes and mozzarella were a perfect accompaniment. Good prices considering the location very near the World Trade Center Museum.

Blue Planet Grill has excellent food esp in the area. Tried the short ribs and paella - both super yummy and memorable. Staff is friendly. BPG is highly recommended if ur looking for quality food in the area.

The place was nice... We waited for about 15 minutes for someone to clear off a table that was empty the whole time. Two of us ordered a philly cheese steak, one of us ordered ravioli and another ordered the french onion soup. The phillys weren't good. I think they were doing a "take" on a philly, but I didn't know that when I ordered it. I've never had a philly on a ciabatta roll, with no peppers. The person who ordered ravioli instead got tortelini. While they're both stuffed pastas, there is a difference. When the person I was with mentioned this to the manager he started arguing. I had already set my plate aside after one bite of a cold, dry sandwich (we waited for our food for 35 minutes, while the group of the same size next to us got their food first, came in after us, and finished it before we even got ours!). The manager looked at me and asked what was wrong with my sandwich. I told him it tasted awful. He disagreed, told me it wasn't his fault and then brought us our bill for the full amount even after taking the food back. Worst restaurant experience ever. But it did lead me to get a philly at one of the little restaurants at Grand Central. THAT was a good sandwich. When it comes down to it, the service and the food that I experienced at a train station sandwich spot was better.. and cheaper.

I attended a work dinner here and had such a great time! The staff was so welcoming and friendly! We had lots of people attending with many different dietary needs. Everyone (people needing no dairy, gluten-free or vegetarian options) was easily accommodated. The food was very delicious! We arrived a bit early and had some of the wine served at happy hour. It wasn't anything special, but good for the price! We ended up switching out a bunch of the bottled wine we ordered at dinner for other varietals and the staff were happy to do it (even though at that point the restaurant was busy and this created some extra work). We will definitely be back to this restaurant. A great one to have in your back pocket for when you need a great place to eat near the World Trade Center.

Poor customer service and mediocre food. Nothing was memorable about this experience other than an owner/manager walking around with a scowl on his face.

Great food. Plenty of TV's to keep kids happy. Must try king sandwich with peanut butter bacon banana and honey. The filet stroganoff is great also. They have gluten free also. Just make sure to tell them you want it that way.

Traveling from Jacksonville florida. Just spent an hour on a cold January morning at the memorial and stopped in for breakfast. My wife and I shared pancakes, and Mediterranean omelet. It was spectacular! Average prices so far for NYC. I would Definetly come here again. Looks pretty kid friendly also.
