We have 3 Kids 6 and under. We have solutely don't miss the children's museum in Madison when we come. We go to Children's Museums all over the Midwest. Madison is different. the part we love the best is the Rooftop Green Space.

Amazing spot for children as young as 1. We bought a yearly membership and go weekly with our little one. Great place for hours of fun with kids of all ages.

Best place to take children in Madison! Not free, but they offer discounts for some, such as qualifying low income families. Food is ok, all kid-friendly choices. Once a week there is an adults-only event! Highly recommend the yearly pass.

Medium sized children's museum right off the capitol square. Check out the rooftop in summer for it's gardens and chickens.

Great museum. A little pricey, but lots of fun. Be sure to check out the rooftop garden and see the chickens and the pigeon coop.

The Madison Children's Museum is disappointing in my adult opinion, but my child loved it and can't wait to go back. I will begrudgingly return because I know it's not for me...it's for my kid.

A lot of fun activities for the kiddos. My toddler really enjoyed the "Wildernest" area with tree houses, water play area, steps, bridges, and slide. On the upper level the youngsters can enjoy arts and crafts and a variety of toys for building, making noise, and just generally having fun.
