Pasta as it should be: al dent, good ingredients, made fresh. You sit on a bar stool, but the quality is there. Enjoy a view of Columbus Street, too. It's busy, and that's no coincidence.

We went there at the decision of the G/F grandmother for mothers day. First ones in at 11:00, we chose the buffet (again her choice). The buffet was small but was good enough for the price. Several types of pasta upon request and numerous sauces up on the buffet line to top it off. Other items included but not limited to lasagna, pizza, baked ziti, minestrone and a pizza that was split into different toppings (pepperoni green chili, plain etc). Salad bar was adequate. Food was good and we had plenty. We had to request bread and oil but it came quickly. Building was clean no odors (like i have seen in other reviews) and had plenty of parking. A few TV screens above the buffet bar and the art work on the walls consists of drawing from around Italy. XM radio in the background not to loud but i could hear the songs. For the price it was worth the trip and next time I will try some thing from the menu. Only questionable downside is the pans are small in the buffet so things run out quick (they tried to stay on top of it) and the pizza was not replaced or added to so if you don't like the selection left you probably need to say something.

I went because of a coupon book and proximity to my work... the service was terrible and pizza just ok. I has called in an order and asked for a beer while I waited. The waiter kept walking past me and didn't even acknowledge me I never saw the bar but after 20 min walked up to it and finally got my beer but had to chug it cuz my food was ready.

I am in town from Colorado, visiting my Mom and we just ate their lunch buffet, VERY TASTY! Luigi's is celebrating 20 years and their write up in Friday's paper brought quite the crowd, but our waiter did not miss a beat! Not only did he handle the entire crowd expeditiously, while hosting newcomers, he did it all with a smile and a great attitude. I could tell he took his job seriously while enjoying it at the same time. Luigi and his staff were very personable and the food was great. May I suggest the chicken cacciatore on the buffet, it is the best. And their spicy sauce over any of their 6 pastas is also wonderful! Thanks Luigi's!!

Nope, nope, nope... This restaurant honestly smelled like pee. Strongly. We were told the buffet was $7.95, but when we got there we were told it was $9.95. Even though the odor of the place was awful, we looked at the buffet. Items looked dry and very unappetizing. Needless to say, we left and went to Tomato Cafe instead. Now that was tasty!!

I do not post too many reviews, usually only if it's very bad or very good. This place was very bad. We went to Sadie but the wait was too long and we had to get somewhere. We were not expecting much but this was by far the worst buffet and possibly worse restaurant I have ever been to anywhere in the world. The buffet had decent salad but pretty much nothing else. There were a few nasty sausage things and meatballs but our entire time there the rest of the buffet was pretty much empty. Mind you we were there at around 7pm so it wasn't late or anything. We waited hoping they would put more items out but nope. How do you have a buffet and charge 11 dollars a person but have no food?? They did bring bread which was fresh and that filled us a little. We then tried the desert and it was stale. I am astonished how this place has been in business this long??

20 years in business. And going strong keep getting busier every week. And getting great write-ups .the food and deserts are all made from scratch in house assuring freshness every time. When people are used to spaghetti'os and chef boy r Dee. My food probably won't taste good. Not bad for the worst Restaurant in the world. EAT WELL LIVE LONG!!

Thank you Luigi for the most authentic Italian food my husband and I have eaten in nearly two years after moving to New Mexico from South Florida. I cannot rave enough about the Chicken Florentine. Delicious food and great service. We will be back!
