New Mexican food at its finest - hot green chili, wholesome red on the huevos and the beans and tortillas hit the spot. The wait seemed a bit excessive for the number of wait staff and open tables. Worth the wait, but don't go there if you're in a hurry.

No specific reason just wasn't impressed oh and btw if you like the green chilli you must be a retard because it tastes like it came from a can also the coffee comes in a plastic container and if you know anything about plastic and high temperatures you know you will get a bad taste and probably cancer/ I don't recommend this place if you are an intelligent eater but if you're drunk or on drugs you might love this place :)

Found from a local. Excellent! Best green chilie I have had in a very long time-maybe ever. Not for Gringas though but I understand they have a less atomic version for the uninitiated. Fast service. Decor is local watering hole but who cares when you get great food and service.

Please use caution when ordering their more spicy burritos; they're great-tasting, but that's partly why! These are also extremely spicy (partly why these are so addicitve; you've been warned.) Guys, do you use ghost chilies in these (My taste buds haven't registered heat the same way since)? Dad and I have both been spicy food lovers since we were kids, but this was unexpected, to say the least! (we suffered for three days afterward, because of the heat. :-) ) Excellent food and atmosphere, though...Five stars, overall! By the way, folks, we visited this restaurant about May, 2010.

I don't know why anyone who loves truly good and authentic New Mexico food would give this place high ratings! I love hot green and red chile as I roast my own green and dry my own fresh red. I also grow many varieties of hot chile peppers so I am no wimp to hot chile! I tasted the level 2 and it was insane but tasted like crap! No good flavor and I highly doubt this is all green chile in it! I think they add a capsaicin extract or something! Totally unpalatable! I ordered the roast beef enchilada plate and was underwhelmed! They put the wimpy gringo chile on it, (green and red) and as it wasn't terrible tasting is wasn't great either. Pretty bland. The "roast beef that I had to pay extra for was cheap processed pressed meat and not real roast beef! I should have got the ground beef. The posole was gross and the rice was , well, meh. The whole beans were ok. The cheese looked like processed Velveeta. I only wanted to try it because of Anthony Bourdain's appearance on his show and some of the reviews here! Total crap, I don't know why some locals thinks this is good at all! Not the best service and definitely a run down hole in the wall. Garcia's Kitchen in Albuquerque is way better than this place!

The food here is always low grade, soaked in oil and just poor quality ingredients. The Chile sauce is excellent, if only the food was purchased and cooked with as much flavor. This is Th

This has to be the worst food in Santa fe. If you want good food try the flying tortilla or something else.
