Menu
Our Pasadena cafe is our third and largest in Los Angeles. A long Douglas Fir bar plays host to our full menu of beautiful single origins, elegant teas and refreshing iced drinks, as well as a specially curated craft beer and wine menu. Tall ceilings and exposed brick frame Ana Henton’s design, and windows at both ends allow light to pour in.   A back entrance allows for quick access to ample parking nearby, and outdoor seating makes it a perfect rest stop on Colorado Boulevard.

The ambience of this place is really nice. It's good for people who wants to chill or just have a chat with friends. But the coffee is just ok. I am a coffee lover, and their coffee isn't just that good enough. For a latte, you could taste the milk more than the coffee. And they do not have food, just pastries. I tried their bear paw pastries, they were so tough to eat. Maybe because they didn't heat up the pastries. For a shop that only sells coffee and pastries, they should have perfected their any of the 2. And oh, if you're planning to bring your laptop to work or study there, be sure to charge your battery fully. They do not have electrical outlets available for plug. And if there's one, they do not work. I guess they did it in purpose to prevent people from staying there too long. But if you're just looking for a place to chill, this place is great for conversation with friends or just to read a book. Not a good choice for a good cup of coffee or pastries. Price is more than Starbucks. I would rather just go to starbucks. They heat up the pastries for you by request.

Just beat a line when I got here, but was not surprised to see how quickly it formed. This place is way better than I was expecting. The barista was very knowledgeable about the exotic offers and patiently explained them to me without the least bit of condescension. I ended up paying $12 for one of their specialty coffees and didn't regret a penny of it. I even bought a Thermos mug due to the advice of people in line and their staff assuring me it would not fail me. After going through 3 in the past that failed spectacularly, I can say they were right on with the recommendation! I'll definitely be coming again when I'm in the area!

Very cool coffee shop. Wouldn't categorize it as a "coffice" but its definitely busy enough. They also serve wine and beer. Coffee is pricier than the average coffee shop.

The coffee is great, the service is not really very good. It has a very "hipster" vibe. Which is good is you are a hipster, but if you are not, it is a bit awkward. They play fun music, but it is a bit loud for some people. I personally enjoyed it. It was energizing :)

Good coffee with a lot of personality. The earl grey French macaroon cookies are a favorite. Love the lasagna cupcakes. They make a great meal.

This is a great coffee shop in the heart of the shopping are of Pasadena. i don't understand why people want hot coffee on 80+ degree days. I know it gets cold enough in California, but hot drinks were still flying off the shelf on the warm days as well. Also, There is a area of foodyism I need to learn: desire over quality. While I wanted a nonfat drink, intelligentsia would only go down to 2%. I also thoroughly enjoyed the drink. Their normal drinks I believe were at 5%, where they add cream to milk. I couldn't do that, but the 2% one was very nice.
