I spent one night, for my birthday, at the hotel. The hotels grounds are beautiful and walking into the hotel you are greeted with a beautiful look and smiling faces. The valet and front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. The experience was great. The room that we stayed in was good, but the shower was a little dirty and could have used a scrubbing, the bathroom light switch was located outside the bathroom which was odd, but other then that everything was great!

The proximity to Disneyland was great and the shuttle accommodations were just what we needed for our trip there. The room was nice, but I woke up with a sore back. I don't know if this was due to the bed or the fact that I was walking around DCA most of the day. The hotel was very nice though and the staff very accommodating. I would stay here again.

What a great stay. The staff were very friendly and the room (a 2 bed and sofa sleeper) was very good. The sofa sleeper was disappointing, but what do you expect. They have free WiFi, tennis/basketball courts, and a pool. There are 2 restaurants and a Starbucks inside. Overall the stay was good.

The room is beautiful and cozy, the customer service is great BUT we were quoted $560 for three nights and when we arrived it was much higher. When my wife asked about the $50/night extra charge the front desk said it was an "incidentals charge". This wasn't mentioned to us at any time. It's supposed to drop off our account if we don't use any "incidentals" but we allotted a specific amount for our vacation and this reduces funds available for other items (like souvenirs at Disneyland). So while I am happy with the accommodations I am a little soured on the place because of the lack of disclosure about this extra charge. Otherwise I would say that the place is very clean, there's a Starbucks downstairs to help us start the day and a shuttle to Disneyland that is very convenient. There are some nice restaurants right next door including Outback Steakhouse and Red Robin. There is a bunk bed in the room for our three kids and a pair of doors that close off and make the kids' area a separate suite and that's pretty slick. Plus they have their own television in there too. Anyway, good hotel, nice place, bad first impression. I would return here again in the future (but this time we'll be ready for that extra financial punch in the breadbasket...)

We had the best experience ever!! We called in on our drive out to the hotel to ask it they would be able to place some balloons and a card in our room since we where celebrating our daughters 10th birthday the manager said that she would see what she would do for us. We get a call back not even 10 minutes later and the manager tells us that do to us being platinum members they would upgrade our room (at no additional cost) to a kids suite and make our daughters and our stay extra special. Balloons and a card where waiting in our room when we arrived as well.

I loved this hotel. I flew out to California towards the end of September of 2015 to visit with my sister and her husband. This hotel was amazing. We got a very nice and clean room with one hell of a view. The grounds were well kept and all of the staff was amazing. We spent most of our time at the hotel playing in the pool and doing some of the other activities they had there. It was even better that they had the shuttle system that takes hotel patrons to and from disneyland. I want to thank this place for providing such fun and loving memories that really mean alot to me.

High expectations for what turned out to be an extremely low class hotel! They should change the name to Horrible Regency! It would suit the image of the hotel better! Management here is too cowardly to respond to their former customers who had horrible experiences!! This hotel provided my family with the worst vacation ever! I would have given the Hyatt negative stars if it would have allowed me to! The Hyatt Orange County will not provide a safe and fun family environment, it will only bring you stress, agitation, and anxiety! Bring your boxing gloves because you will literally need them when you are physically confronted and harassed by the angry and overly aggressive valet staff! They are pushy, rude, and will try to intimidate you! And forget about the management....They do not care!! My family stayed here for over a week and were instantly and continually harassed and stalked by an angry valet. We could not walk or drive by the hotel lobby and valet area without getting dirty looks and stare downs from the valet! It was as if he wanted to fight in the back alley or something! During our entire vacation, I was constantly on the defensive making sure this valet did not attempt something..... Even with my children around! It didn't stop him the first time, so why would it be different any other time? The only time we were safe from this nonsense was when we were away from the Hyatt!! No, management did nothing to address the safety issues my family was facing, and we had to tolerate the angry valet throughout our entire stay. It was only the last two days that the valet was placed on leave for his actions and behavior since he readily admitted that he was holding a grudge against my family!! The only thing the Hyatt did to remedy the problem was to send a box of candy to our room and comp our parking fees...how about protecting the interest of the paying customers and their children!!!! Forget about management too! They will sarcastically dismiss your concerns as if they are not legitimate! I had to address this problem multiple times with no resolve from the Hyatt!! I have never experienced a more unprofessional and dysfunctional hotel as the Hyatt Orange County! It is definitely not what I imagined the standard of the Hyatt to be, and honestly I can say my family would have been safer staying at a local truck stop, sleeping in our car! At least I wouldn't have had to worry about any attacks or retaliation from an angry staff member...what a joke!!! I have had to pursue this through the better business bureau since the Hyatt management has ignored my concerns and dismissed my complaint as irrelevant! In Fact, the Hyatt is so unprofessional, they ignored the complaint with the Better Business Bureau and are pretending it never happened!! Do not stay at this hotel unless you enjoy agitation and confrontation!!! The owner has responded to other horrible experiences but is too cowardly to address a serious issue that happened to my family!!! Shame on the Hyatt for allowing their guests to be harassed and threatened!!! I'm glad that there will be negative marks against this place for good!!

The hotel was a fantastic hotel to stay in. The best were comfortable, there was a fridge, free Starbucks coffee, and a hd TV. The location is very close to disney land, and the area around the hotel was a really safe area. The only complaint that I would have is that there was not much of a view from my hotel room window, (all I got to see was the first floor lobby).
