GXT 5 Update

The early access program for GXT 5 has concluded. We’d like to thank everyone who participated in the program and shared their feedback with us. Currently, GXT 4 continues to be a popular release with many new customers across a wide range of verticals, especially for Java-skilled developers building data-intensive web applications apps for tablet devices. We have listened to your feedback and learned a lot regarding the transition from GXT 2 to GXT 4. We’ve decided to focus our product efforts on continuing to improve GXT 4, with numerous bug fixes available in the nightly builds. We’ll share updates on our plans for future releases as they’re finalized.

Sometimes it's easier to use html in the Grid cell so you can play with all the html attributes. Such as marking a checkbox disabled.

There are lots of fun things you can do with html in Grid cells. And keep in the IdentityValueProvider is available to send to the model into each cell which can be used to help change the html around.
