Have you ever wondered what it's like to ride a single-speed fixed gear bike? This article gives a personal account of what the few weeks were like.
This article is my exploration of what it's like riding a single speed or fixed gear bike (there is a difference).

The Liverpool-Chester event is available to book for the ride on 05/07/2015. Nice route across the Wirral and great fun riding through the tunnels.

Wow - what a day, heavy rain, strong winds and generally miserable weather. However, great route and an interesting debate whether to do it again next year.

We rated this bike carrier 5 stars out of five.
The Saris Sentinel 2-Bike Carrier for the Mercedes SLK is a top quality bike rack which is easy to use and protects both car and bike.

Looking for recommendations for fast-rolling mountain bike tyres for use on the road, something like the Schwalbe Marathon Plus.

Eventually chose Schwalbe Marathon Supreme tyres. Not 100% sure about them yet.

The best sites to see, and places to stop off, along the coast of Turkey.
The starting point for this route is Antalya, which you can reach by flight from Izmir or Istanbul if you’re heading over from the west.

The argument that cyclists pay no road tax is an old one, and one that is inaccurate, not least because road tax has not existed since the 1930s. Cyclists contribute a significant amount of money towards road maintenance.

The Air Purifying Bike is a concept bike that aims to give cyclists a healthier cycling experience.

The designers claim that the APB, as it's also known, can reduce air pollution. The bike does this through its air purifying technology which consists of an air filter and an oxygen generator.

As the cyclist rides through the polluted air, the filter fitted on the front of the bicycle will pull the air inside through the CO2 and dust filter and then expel clean air. This cleaner air is then breathed in by the cyclist.

The bike frame holds a unit that produces Oxygen using a photosynthesis system to make the air cleaner. When parking the bike, the purifying function can be maintained to work by the battery inside.

We think this is a pretty neat idea and whilst this may take time to catch on, and is of course price dependent, it could be a regular feature in cities throughout the World in the not too distant future.
