Just wanted to give a shout out for the Wirral Bikeathon this Sunday. A charity bike ride that's family friendly and well organised. Pretty much flat all the way and a choice of a 14m or 28m loop, with refreshment breaks every 7 miles, making it a great way to get kids and beginners into organised rides. #wirral   #bikeathon

Probably the most pointless cycle lane ever. Congratulations goes to Wirral Council for this complete waste of money!

This is a story of a middle aged man who was fed-up having a middle-aged spread.

Whilst doing some research for an article on some pretty unique bike lights (launched tomorrow). I came across an aspect of UK road cycling law that I wasn't aware of .

We all know that lights are required on bicycles at night but did you know that reflectors are also required between sunset and sunrise?

A friend and I rode the +Wiggle Cheshire Cat this weekend. We had to fight against wind, rain, freezing cold and horrendous hailstones .. oh, and filthy looks from the 3,500 riders who weren't on a mountain bike - really Guys, really?

The ride was well organised and the route well balanced. Definitely one to add to your NW ride list.

First look at the new +Myprotein Ener:Gels. We scored it 4.5 stars and thought it was a great product.
There was a noticeable and instant energy boost with the MyProtein Ener:Gel, more so than my SIS GO Isotonic Gel. Read my full review ...
