Terrible experience. Had to change rooms 3 times due to no air conditioning. Was promised a roll away bed and they flat out lied and failed to deliver. Staff didn't seem to care one bit about our terrible experience. Will not be recommending this Marriott to anyone else. Corporate needs to come get this location straightened out. Brett the operations manager was not helpful offered us complimentary bottled water, what a joke.

Staff was awesome! Everyone was cheerful and helpful. Clean and comfortable rooms. Kind of noisy across from bars, but no problem, its New Orleans!

Great hotel, only two blocks from the convention center. Staff was attentive, polite, and personable. Hotel was under renovation while I was there, although I didn't see much that needed renovation

Got a great deal off of Priceline for this hotel. They were very accommodating. Left our luggage there to explore the city when we got there before checkout and they were able to switch our room from two queens to a king with the click of a button. Great location - not far to walk to Canal Place or Jackson Square but had some unique stops along the way. We were presently surprised that they have a boutique bowling alley on the walk to the French Quarter called Fulton Alley and we had fun there then walked back to the hotel. The room was very nice - big flat screen, nice amenities, etc. They even sent someone from the bar up to our room to open our beers because we accidentally forgot to buy screw off caps at the market down the street. 10/10 would stay again!

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. After being told a roll away bed was no problem on three separate occasions, we were told later that it was a fire hazard. We were moved twice due to no AC in the rooms. The staff showed no sympathy for our terrible experience. Customer service 101, if the customer has an awful experience, you do whatever it takes to restore their faith in your establishment so that you create repeat customers. Not have a poor attitude and offer a bottle of water. There's several hotels in the area, if your planning a weekend getaway, do not book your room here.

The location was close to French Quarter and all the action, but $28.00 to park and there is no free breakfast. This is not acceptable. The rooms were nice but the appearance of the exterior was not all that great. Booked on Priceline fair price for the location.

Would NEVER book this hotel again. Advertised as in the "French Quarter", when really .8 miles away in the Warehouse District across from a night club that plays music until 4 am. Staff was unattentive and not helpful. The pool area was covered in cockroaches bigger than anything I have ever seen. Marriot use to be my favorite Hotel, but not anymore!!!

COCKROACH INFESTED POOL AREA + HORRIBLE STAFF! Do not stay here. First and foremost, the internal pool area is COMPLETELY INFESTED WITH COCKROACHES. I'm talking about cockroaches roaming EVERYWHERE at nighttime. I understand that cockroaches happen in city areas, but this was a completely internal pool area and we had our patio door open for hours when we were lounging outside around the pool. There are no screen doors on the patio doors and we were not informed of cockroaches near the pool. For all I know we had cockroaches roaming throughout our room and through our stuff the entire weekend because of the lack of cleanliness. Secondly, the maid stole a personal item from our room. The nature of the item stolen was one that would make us embarrassed to report to hotel management. Nonetheless that is completely unacceptable. Finally, on our way out of the hotel to catch a 6:45am flight, we politely asked the front desk woman if she would call us a cab to the airport. She told us that we 'could hail one on the street or walk to a valet area.' Which is just a polite way of saying 'No, I'm too lazy to call you a cab. Good luck finding one at 5am'. This hotel should not be given any of your business until it is under new management that takes customer service and cleanliness seriously.
