I am a real stickler when it comes to fine dining with both top-of-the-line food and excellent service. Hands down, my experience at 75 Chestnut (for Thanksgiving) was absolutely great. I came with my family and everyone loved their meals, the ambiance was pleasant, and the waiters & managers were very respectful and responsive. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to bring their family/friends, a special someone, or just for a night out with a few friends to a quaint restaurant (with a small bar). I WILL be back!

The Chestnut is tucked away on a residential St of Beacon's hill. Cosy, warm and rustic with the perfect old-world-feel when you step inside. The cheese and crackers are also a brilliant touch, a complement to their largish selection of wine. I was slightly disappointed by the food, the burger I tried was dry and without any condiments. But the other diners at my table enjoyed the pasta and we also indulged in a few desserts, that were exceptionally decadent and delicious.

Very nice atmosphere, great staff. Mediocre, uninspired food.

Their gingerbread house party was so much fun and candy! The food is yummy too. The staff is friendly and you really feel welcomed and at home. Today is the last day for the gingerbread party - make sure you reserve a spot.

I'm a big fan of this place and try to go every week/every other week. It's always crowded but the perfect little hideaway on Chestnut Street in Beacon Hill. They have something called Sweet Tooth Tuesday for half priced desserts on (you guessed it) Tuesday. Their mussels will change your life, too.
