Some #lighting is just so unique, it's truly hard to put words to it. This light here is one such light. The magnificent casting of this #peacock is so detailed and beautiful, pictures can't really showcase the meticulous care it took to create it. The French casting had to have been done during or before #1920, as we received this item with the original #vintage sockets dating to that period. We re-wired this #antique to use American #candelabra bulbs, and installed #mirror-top #bulbs to direct the light onto the #Peacock's magnificent feathers - and not in your face. In the 1880s there was a prolific #hardware company named #Reading Hardware. They produced hardware for all through the #home, and we have #replicated some of their best designs in the #Windsor line. This entry door is crafted in just the same way they would have done it in that era - using #lost #wax #casting to get the beautiful detail just like in jewelry making. Love the design? Search "windsor" on our website: http://ow.ly/Y1Z1Y

Have a #transom #window? We have several pieces of #hardware to replace or upgrade your current transom window parts. Pictured here is our beautifully cast #transom window #operator - like all our hardware, this is also created using the #lost #wax casting method that retains such wonderful detail. The #window #arm has 5 positions of offset adjustment & can be adjusted from 2 1/2" to 4 1/4" away from the operator shaft. Read more and see diagrams on our website: http://ow.ly/Y1RKF

Don't leave out even the tiniest of details. Let the #stairs up to your building express your attention to detail and eye for aesthetics. These heavy-duty #brass stair #treads are suitable for heavy traffic areas and will weather nicely with time. The design is recast from a #victorian #business building, and graces the steps to our own beautiful building in #PortTownsend, #Washington! http://ow.ly/UAgl3

Imagine what a sophisticated look this #pushplate would give your #door. #Victorian design and in an #antique #brass finish - what more could anyone want? This is a recast from an #antique of the "Pavia" pattern roaring lion doorknob backplate by P.F. Corbin, which can be seen in their Circa #1900 catalog. This impressive pushplate has a design of double full figured cherubs flanking a lion's head. The design is very classical Roman. See more online: http://ow.ly/WrgIN

#Victorian #Hanging 2 Lamp #PanLight - This is a #Reproduction of a late Victorian hanging lamp. If you watch old movies, this is the classic pan that remained popular even through the Art Deco era. Some old-timers called it the Aladdin's Lamp #Light. We reproduce this hanging light with two or four lamps also, for the needs of any size room. Very flexible in design, this #pendant light works well with #Mission style homes, too. Read more on our website: http://ow.ly/Y1YK2

What a beautiful pair of #antique #sconces we have here! These beauties come from the #1900s - circa #1920 - #1930. The design of the fixture is very elegant, accentuated by the antique patina that brings out all the great details in these pieces. The #shades are also lovely, the off-white complements the #brass fixtures and the delicate design in the glass is soft yet pronounced. They are also completely rewired and UL listed, ready to be installed in your home. Read more or see more pictures on our website: http://ow.ly/XOT60

One of the most striking chandeliers ever to have come out of the #1920 to #1930's era! This ‪#‎chandelier‬ was a casting nightmare with its ‪#‎reticulated‬ design, but we enjoy a challenge - especially one that produces such a uniquely gorgeous fixture. This ‪#‎light‬ will not only brighten your room, it will become a stunning ‪#‎talking‬ point. If you favor ‪#‎vintage‬ decor, this ‪#‎antique‬ ‪#‎reproduction‬ is for you. http://ow.ly/Vrz4r

I love coming here. The museum is absolutely beautiful and they put up Christmas lights that I love seeing in town. They have great stuff to look at in the show room, too.
