Large #Corbin's #Roanoke #door #plate set. Finely #wrought just like Corbin did in #1900's. The design is just so precise and attractive, that it takes a bit of study, to see all the design elements, crowded onto this plate. #VintageHW #door #hardware

#Antique #Art #Deco #Mid-West Mnf., 6 Light, top-of-the-line,  #chandelier with #original #shades.
This chandelier was the #best from the line that Mid-West called: The #Beverly.  Nice design for the more #streamline #design #motif of the #1936 deco era.

One of the finest #glass companies in the world was the #Vianne #Glass #Company of #France, founded in #1928.  They were among the biggest glass companies in France.  Located near #Bordeaux in southwest France, Vianne was the last surviving glass maker in France to produce #hand #blown #glass.  All of the companies that bought glass from Vianne proudly announced they used their glass.  At the end of December 2005, this respected company closed its doors.

Many lighting companies bought up the remaining stock of Vianne glass shades, all advertising that when they’re gone, there will be no more.  Vianne made many styles of glass shades, but the early #Art #Deco #slip #shades are highly #rare and valued.  All slip shades are probably well over 60 years old, since the Art Deco era ended with World War II. #WWII

Here is a delightful combination of old and #recreation.  While we have been slowly accumulating old French shades by Vianne for some time, the frames to hold them are darn hard to find.  We decided to solve this problem by duplicating an original #frame and adding a few touches to make it #UL #compliant.  French manufacturers did not really do that.

Check them out here!

#Art #Nouveau honored nature, and #woodland #creatures especially. This #owl #handle would work well with not only Art Nouveau, but any #Arts & #Crafts #handmade #furniture, even #contemporary.

Here we have a #fine #French #chandelier by #Ezan that just demonstrates the variations of the #Art #Deco #design in one lovely #fixture.  #Circa #1920-30, it is truly a lovely chandelier.
The #shades are really quite #unique.  Heavy #cast #glass, with heavy #embossed designs.
Added to those lovely shades are the lovely drips of glass down the body of the chandelier, and you can see the design excellence we can see from Ezan.

A larger than normal two #panel #wall #sconce.  The sconce has a little age to it...say 30 or so years old.  The detail of the castings are precise because they are made with a very large die cast machine.  The #cut #glass #panels are simply #amazing.  Yes, cut glass...not pressed.

We bought the contents of a theatre from a demo contractor and ended up with 20 of these beauties. However, our stock is running low so order soon!
