Two Types of Oceans that Do not Mix up..!!

This is the place where two oceans meet... but do not mix!
INCREDIBLE AND SIMPLY MIND-BLOWING!!!

These two bodies of water were merging in the middle of The Gulf of Alaska and there was a foam developing only at their junction. It is a result of the melting glaciers being composed of fresh water and the ocean has a higher percentage of salt causing the two bodies of water to have different densities and therefore makes it more difficult to mix.

Here's a shot of the Santa Monica pier From the Los Angeles Photowalk several weeks ago. I just arrived in Taipei, Taiwan and hope to post some photos from this special place soon. I lived here many years ago, so I'm revisiting some familiar spots. So far I've been distracted by the food :-)

It seems like a lot of you enjoy being out after midnight too! I was surprised to see how many people also agree that things change after midnight... almost like you get a hint into another world... a shadow-world... where anything seems possible in an ephemeral nether-world...

This shot below is of an unusual and lost alleyway in Spain...

Landscape Photography Gallery: Composing with Repeating Patterns - #albumtheme

It seems that nature PREFERS repetition because repeating patters are found in almost every part of nature. On our recent trip to Utah we got to experience these repeating patterns again...but this time the looked like flames. We love using these patterns are a composition tool in our photographs.

This week's Album theme is repeating patterns...I have arranged first 15-20 images in my gallery to showcases repeating patterns in nature.

Enjoy & Share.
