Introduction
I am a father and grandfather enjoying a lifelong passion for exploring the wilderness. This blog contains personal journals for several of my missions from 2005 to present. The previous 45 years, prior to embracing digital photography, are missing. I do not consider myself a writer but I have been told I can tell a story. I also have a lifelong passion for photography. To you, my pictures show tiny portions of spectacular vistas. To me they represent fabulous memories. If you choose to share my experiences, you are welcome to contact me for additional information or advice. My blog is not even remotely intended to be a hiking guide. Although I do most of my hiking solo I give thanks to my wonderful hiking partners, including my son, Bill, who has shared adventures with me for more than 25 years. I am truly blessed.
