So much to love about this place. It can be a relaxing retreat on some days and a perfect place to see a concert on others. Couples and families alike can make some fabulous memories at the Arboretum. It's a jewel in the big city jungle that is Dallas.

Absolutely a must see experience for area visitors. DFW residents should definitely invest in an annual membership since it will pay for itself after roughly 3 visits. Seasonal events and frequent plant changes make this a monthly destination. The revamped children's area is not only educational & fun, but an excellent photo opportunity. Great for having a picnic or eating at an on site dining venue. Can be a bit busy on weekends or close to a holiday. Weekdays or non peak hours are serene & peaceful. Bring your best camera or simply a desire to connect with natural beauty.

My wife and 2 kids went there last week and had a great time! so why only the 2 stars?? Because the website states that August is "Dollar Day" month and tickets are just $1 at the entrance, but when my wife and kids went there last week they were charged full price at the gate. I specifically recommended that they should go, so I feel like I was misled by the false advertising. I guess there is some hidden clause somewhere that states the only certain days are "Dollar days". I'll read the fine print next time

Crowded! Absolutely a mess, the employees were rude to everyone, annoyed it was busy, could not see anything it was so full, waste of time!!!'

We booked the Dallas arboretum based on great reviews and I have to say I am more than less than impressed. For two active duty military members who are over seas they are not helpful or understanding. I have had family drive an hour away to make payments because they can't take our over seas cards and no ones has been there to take the payment. Every time we call we get met with rude people and receptionist that tell us that they have a lot of business, soooo...... If thats how we feel we can go else where but at this point 5 months away from our wedding with everything more than halfway paid on our small budget its impossible to change venue. I just want hopefully help any bride in the near or in the far future on dealing with the stress we have dealt with.

Not sure how or why I managed to wait so long to go here. Absolutely beautiful place. Everything is well maintained, parking is expensive but we parked about as far away as possible, yet only had a very short walk to the entrance. An excellent place to spend an afternoon on a sunny day.

What a great place to visit on a crisp cool day. The holiday exhibits are in full swing and bringing the kids to the pumpkin patch and other beautiful arrangements is great!

This is a great place to enjoy the outdoors. The restaurant is great also and you'll want to get a reservation a head of time.
