My wife and 2 kids went there last week and had a great time! so why only the 2 stars?? Because the website states that August is "Dollar Day" month and tickets are just $1 at the entrance, but when my wife and kids went there last week they were charged full price at the gate. I specifically recommended that they should go, so I feel like I was misled by the false advertising. I guess there is some hidden clause somewhere that states the only certain days are "Dollar days". I'll read the fine print next time

I don't like gardens but this place had so much more than just a garden. Tons of cool things to get anyone interested in the STEM fields. Facilities were great and staff was friendly and helpful. Simply incredible.

One of the most amazing Arboretums I have ever been to. This place is immacualte and beautiful, with a great view of White Rock Lake. Nice place to propose to or have a wedding. In the fall they have a pumpkin patch and village with small houses made of pumpkins, and of course, Cinderella's carriage.

No need to complain about the cost of food or drinks. They let you bring your own. Why would you be so stupid to not bring anything then be upset that you have to wait in line? Been coming here since I was a kid with a family membership ever since. Great place.

I spent about an hour and a half walking through all of the trails. Several sunny wider paths act as main thoroughfares and fitness trails, though I didn't see any runners. Smaller paths take you through shaded gardens and closer to fountains. Dogs are not allowed, nor are garden games. The gardens are varied and very pretty, a nice spot to read. On the north end there is a particularly cool series of fountains and a koi pond.

A very nice place to go to when you are in the mood for flowers and trees, it will help you escape from the business of life. It is a little bit pricey, but you can find parking somewhere else and walk into it. If you like taking pictures, you can easily take hundreds of pictures of beautiful flowers and plant life. It can get really hot in summer, but during spring and fall, this is a perfect place for family picnic. They had a huge pumpkin patch last fall. Also it has a great view of the white rock lake, which is my favorite spot for biking. The only downside is the dirty restroom and limited choice of food, but you can pack your own food.

So beautiful, may be a little pricey but way worth it! Go through all areas, it's humid so wear something that isn't too hot! I loved the plants, flowers, and trees!

Great place to visit in the Dallas area. My family of six (four kids 12-21 years old) all enjoyed the variety of plants and excellent landscaping. Plan on spending about 3 hours to walk through the gardens (not including the children's gardens).
