This is a beautiful place to take your lady, BUT DON'T PROPOSE TO HER HERE. seriously. Too many people have done that here. It's overdone. Just bring her here and tell her she's pretty and enjoy yourselves.

Absolutely gorgeous. Well worth the membership if you are local. Flowers changes out seasonally and always spectacular. Every year they have expanded and improved. Great place to take someone you want to romance!

Some of the best vistas in Dallas, dare I say the country. The different areas of the garden each feature difference landscapes and flowers. There are fountains and art displays all over the place. Pets are not welcome, and that is a good thing. Picnics are encouraged so bring your towels, cheese and wine! You should know that sometimes during the weekends it gets busy with people taking photos and little kids running amuck. There is a kid’s adventure garden so make a point to avoid that area if you are looking for peace and quiet. The Arboretum does have some classes on gardening, festivals, and even night time concerts. If you decided to skip to the end and just want the DL: Go, bring a picnic and drinks some wine.

The children's area is fantastic. We went during the week in mid-April, and avoided the crowds, which I assume are significant on the weekends and holidays. Lots of activities and interesting exhibits for kids of all ages.

The Dallas Arboretum is absolutely wonderful. The staff does an excellent job at keeping the landscape beautiful. Although I am not a regular customer, I have visited the Arboretum many times. They host a diverse amount of events throughout the year, and offer a pleasant time for the whole family. For summer visits, be sure to prepare yourself with the necessary equipment to withstand the heat and sunlight (I.e. sun cream, sun glasses, hat or umbrella, and water of course). The relevant preparation goes for winter visits as well! There is a gift shop and small restaurant available at the entrance of the Arboretum, and another more pricey restaurant towards the center. It's pricey but worth it because the food is delicious and the setting is comforting and atmospheric. You will enjoy this arboretum!

An absolutely beautiful place. My sister got married here, and the ceremony and reception were incredible. It sounds kind of hyperbolic maybe, but it's really one of the most picturesque and memorably scenic events I've ever attended/been a part of. The wedding was in the evening, and the sun started going down over the lake during the reception - it was really something. I've got to remember to upload some photos to this review.

Me in my element! Beautiful gardens. Staff was not the most friendly ever and the price of admission is kind of high, but it's a beautiful, peaceful place, nonetheless.

Great place. Good amount of parking on site (have to pay). A lot of areas to explore. Great hill overlooking the lake. A couple large picnic areas as well
