Drumrolls please!

After a week of an intense competition showcasing the talent of our students, it is now time to announce the winners of the Chocolate Showpiece Contest!

1st Place: Kevin Avery, Showpiece #4 who wins 500$
2nd Place: Yessenia Moreno, Showpiece #5 who wins 100$
3rd Place: Susana Barrera, Showpiece #1 who wins 50$*

Entirely made out of chocolate, these pieces of art required 55 to 60 hours of work!

Congratulations to our students who all did an outstanding job!!! Jasmine Eggestein, Emily Jimenez and Marche Rutherford

Last week at CIL, we wanted to honor two very important persons here at CIL: Chef Jean Moysan and Chef Sébastien Bonnet! Chef Jean was recognized for his outstanding service as Senior Instructor Chef and creator of our evening class shift, while Chef Sébastien was honored for his 10 years of outstanding service at the Culinary Institute Lenôtre!
Congratulations Chefs and thank you for being part of this family that is CIL!

✨ CHOCOLATE SHOWPIECE COMPETITION ✨

Support your favorite Chocolate Showpiece made by our students enrolled in Level 5 Baking & Pastry from April 9 - 15!
The artworks will be exhibited in the lobby in South Building to be admired by everyone. Entirely made out of chocolate, each showpiece required 50 to 60 hours of work!

With your votes, the participating students will have the chance to win up to 500$ in the form of a Scholarship towards tuition.

Paper Ballots are also available in the lobby South Building.

The winner will be chosen:
50% by YOUR Votes (Paper Ballots, Form & Social Media)
50% by Chefs and Staff Votes
