We are so excited to holding the first of four special Childhood Trauma Workshops at Beech Lodge this Wednesday. EVERY TEACHER should be trained in this area so that they understand how adverse childhood experiences can profoundly impact behaviour, development and outcomes, but also recognise that poor outcomes are not predetermined and can be reduced with appropriate support.

"Building inclusion and acknowledging the post-traumatic and attachment needs of children adopted from care – and many other young people – is not an alternative to academic success, but a prerequisite for it."
