This is hands down the largest and most impressive museum that I have ever visited. They have amazing interactive exhibits and original artifacts. One could easily spend 2 ABSOLUTELY FULL days in this museum just glossing over everything. And that is only 0.002 percent of their collection! An amazing time at an affordable price!

Definitely geared more towards children. . . Lots of interactive displays, and gimicky videos and lights, and not as many artifacts as I was expecting. The artifacts they did have they only had the dates of the civilization they came from and not the dates the objects were created. They also had serial numbers directly on the artifacts. . . It just wasn't what I was expecting at all. The taxidermy collection is worth checking out. If you are short on time, skip this and check out the Art Institute museum that's nearby.

I loved the museum! Watch out at the gift store though! Double check the pricing and how much they charge you, I ended up paying $15.95 for something I didn't buy!

I've lived in Chicago all my life and, I may be biased but, the Field is amazing. I love coming here. Great set up and layout of everything. I can't wait to go back.

It is SO big! I was amazed at the size of the museum! It would take a week to see all the exhibits and shows. Our tickets got us into all the special exhibits and a 3D show. Although we didn't have any kid with us, there were plenty of activities for children. Some exhibits were more text heavy, so we adults learned something as well. I wish we had dedicated more time to see everything.

Simply awesome. My son and I visited on a busy weekend in July and I still found quiet rooms for contemplation and reflection. If I were by myself I could have easily spent two or three entire days absorbing all of the information.

The best and most engaging museum I have ever seen. They have the best Dinosaur fossils and the kids loved every part of it.

So much to do and see... could spend days here. Very well crafted and creative exhibits, surprisingly good food and beer too
