Fantastic natural history museum with great exhibits. The tattoo and Terra Cotta warrior exhibits are worth admission, as my wife and I spent the entire 3+hours we were there in those two shows. It's a really cool place for little kids, teenagers, and adults, with something interesting for everyone. The little cafeteria could do with some better management, as they had almost nothing cooked and available. However, the new bar attached to it is very nice. Set aside a whole day if you can.

A must see in Chicago. The Field Museum is amazing. It is huge with such diverse exhibits. I have been coming here all my life, and am always learning new facts. My favorite is the collection of insects and the Tibetan artifacts. All in perfect condition. They only have 2% of their collection on display, the rest is in storage! Other than that they have amazing programs and opportunities for all ages.

This a great natural history museum with a wide variety of exhibits spanning numerous cultures, history, and genres. The museums architecture is well worth the visit by itself with classic design and amazing views. The exhibits are well done, with informational signage on everything. The cultural pieces offer deeper history and meaning than you expect, and the historical recreations are very detailed. The highlight are the animal exhibits and dioramas. The detail and lifelike scenes are incredible and mesmerizing. This museum was a highlight of the "big 5" attractions on the city pass and we'll worth the visit. They offer free admission to Illinois residents several times a year as well as discounts for others. If you're traveling with kids, or elderly people, this facility has a mini cafeteria; numerous clean, restrooms, and elevators. The staff are very helpful despite the crowds and/or lines. They take the time to help, and that's rare these days.

The Field Museum is a great and interactive place to take the children. Every now and then, they will present a worthwhile exhibit that may cater more to an adults interest but the rest of the permanent exhibits are definitely geared towards the children, which isn't really a bad thing. Anyway, my only complaint is that it can be extremely pricey. Even more so if you are not an Illinois resident. Think about it, admission + special exhibits + parking + food + anything from the gift shops.

The Tattoo Exhibit was very interesting. I enjoyed seeing the history of tattoos and how different cultures use the tradition in various ways. We also visited the Terracotta Warriors which was a once in a lifetime experience. Go there while you still can!

This is a very high quality museum with more to see than can be completed in one visit. I was visiting Chicago and stopped in to see the Terracotta Warriors exhibit, and I was not dissapointed. There are a ton of exhibits, a cafe, and a 3D theater. There may be even more amenities but that's all I could get to in one visit. I will definitely return, and I would highly recommend you visit.

Went to see the Terra Cotta Soldiers. It was well done! Not a great number of soldiers, but a thorough explanation of the work found. As always, I enjoyed my visit. So much more to see than I have time for. The restrooms were clean and plentiful too! It is pricey, but we went on a Sunday when general admission was free for IL residents.

This museum is awesome! I came here about 10 years ago and I was finally able to bring my teen daughter here this summer. She loved it. We could have spent two days walking through to see everything. Don't rush it into one day.
