Cahills Crossing is at 1 metre and rising we advise don’t attempt to drive through.
Magela creek is 0.2 metres over the road and 0.2 metres at the “S” bends 4WD high clearance only

Mardugal campgrounds 1 and 2 are now open.
Mardugal Billabong walk is open.
Merl Campground 2 is now OPEN.
Anbangbang Billabong walk partly open.

Ubirr Art Site is now CLOSED due to the Magela Creek being IMPASSABLE as water levels have risen.

Mardugal campground is still CLOSED due the bathroom facilities being painted.

With the welcoming rain, Jim Jim and Twin Falls are now flowing, so as of tomorrow the 1 hr fixed wing flight will commence flying over this area.  Spectacular from the air.  Please call 08 8979 2548 to book.

Gunlom is now CLOSED due to seasonal conditions.
Old Jim Jim Road is now CLOSED due to high water levels.
As of December 1st until March 31st access to Ubirr is from 2pm until sun set -  permitted tour operators can access Ubirr from 8.30 am using their wet season key.

The Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre has commenced wet season opening times until 25 March 2016 - now open 10am to 3pm daily.

The Sandstone/River walk in the East Alligator River region has been CLOSED for the wet season.
Water facilities - Due to seasonal conditions, we recommend boiling water from campgrounds and day use areas for at least 10 minutes prior to consumption.

Every peak season Kakadu National Park put together free guided ranger activities.  This program usually comes out late April to early May.  Here is an example of the 2015 schedule.
