My son has 2 pairs of these skates.  He plays high level hockey and puts them through much abuse and they have been holding up great.  Really well constructed.
Highly customizable skates for a fit with minimum negative space.

Our group of nine (2 families with boys aged 9 to 16), stayed at the Frijoles Locos apartments for our whole 2 weeks in Costa Rica. Ever since the get-go, Corynne was wonderful in responding to our numerous questions about life in Grande and also the different activities we wanted to take part in. First off, the setup is the best for either 1 or 2 families. We would each have our own apartment, which were well furnished. AC worked A1, we did a lot of cooking and had everything we needed, beds were super comfortable, Wifi worked awesome for the kids (for when we were not at the beach). The pool was great to relax in after tough day surfing. We also took in seven days of surf lessons for the kids and the adults. As first time surfers, we were driven to the beach in the great beach taxis in order to catch the best waves. Our master instructor Ian stayed further out with the boys who were catching great waves and had a blast. The parents stayed closer to shore catching smaller but fun waves with either JC, Andreas or Sebastien, all great instructors. Each instructor would share their tricks and by the end of our 2 weeks, we were catching great waves. Staying above the surf shop was great for us as there was always a friendly face available to answer our questions or help us order some yummy fish and veggies from the local suppliers. The kids would also get a bunch of high fives and smiles as they would come across their surf instructors. The crew at Frijoles Locos really made us feel like we were part of the family. Our youngest grew attached to Loca the dog, who actually stayed a couple of nights with us. We always felt safe staying at Frijoles and we also had diner at El Huerto and Kike's Place right around the corner, two great options to give us a break from cooking. If you are looking for a nice quiet surf town with great waves, beautiful sunsets, far from the commercial hustle, this is THE place. All nine of us are unanimous in saying that this was one of the best vacations we have ever had in such a beautiful part of the world.

Our group of 9 (4 adults, 4 teens and 9 y/o) had a blast with Alex and the folks at the Black Stallion Ranch. We took the Zipline / BBQ. About a 20 minute drive from Playa Grande and easy to find. We were greated by Alex upon our arrival who quickly made us feel at home We were then geared up with the harnesses and headed out for the Ziplining with our 3 guides Danny, Horacio and Marco. Our youngest child was very scared but the 3 guides rode with him on all parts of the zip and made him feel very secure. He ended up having a blast. One of our group was a security freak and always felt safe and in good hands. At the end of our Ziplining, we chilled out with he local dogs and cats while sipping a beer or Then came the feast. Our hungry bunch was treated to an excellent meal cooked by Nancy and Sergio. Everything was so tasty and plentiful. Nancy even shared with us her secret recipe for her bananas flambé. Thanks again Alex. You really have a great setup!
