There's been a deadly attack at Woolwich Barracks in south-east London near the Prime Minister's of office.
According to reports, two men armed with knives, meat cleaver and other weapons attacked a man believed to be a serving soldier, hacked him to death,dragged his body into the middle of the road and then asked people standing by to film them. The two attackers were gunned down by policemen who arrived the scene 20 minutes later following a phone call. One was air lifted and said to be in a critical condition while the other was carried by road ambulance; the two arebeing treated in a new by local hospital.
The Home Secretary, Theresa May, who had summoned a government's emergency meeting to discuss the incident described the attackas "sickening and barbaric" while the British Prime Minister, David Cameron who had been planning to spend a night in Paris after a meeting with the French President had returned home to take part of the government's emergency meeting known as Cobra following the horrendous incident.
The Prime Minister while in France also described it as sickening and appauling and vowed that the nation will never buckle under such attacks.
The terrorists who killed in retribution for Muslim deaths made some political statements after the killing, and the footage shown on the ITV website shows a man, dressed in a grey hooded jacket with bloody hands also with a knife and meat cleaver, saying: "We must fight them as they fightus. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth."
He added: "I apologise that women have had to witness this today, but in our land our women have to see the same. You people willnever be safe. Remove your government, theydon't care about you."
On Twitter, the Mayor of London Boris Johnson described the attack as a"sickening deluded and unforgivable act of violence".
Eye witnesses say that this guys were crazed and behaved like animals as they were seemed to be obliviousto a lot of things except only being interested in having their actions recorded.
