Pretty darn good food. Lousy service. Was much better when it first opened and you ordered at the counter. Now we rarely go there since the service staff has been consistently inattentive to our needs.

The food is amazing but the customer services is not so hot. Its like watching one smiles. And for as new as this place is the decor is tired, as in showing some wear and tear. Most likely a management issue.

Being a party of one on memorial day at noon (surprisingly not busy actually) I chose to be seated at the bar and was immediately seated. The hostess didn't make any attempt at small talk and lacked energy. Seated at the bar, another server ignored my existence for about 2 minutes until my server made contact. Note: If you are bashful you will have a difficult time getting questions answered, if you don't mind speaking up and grabbing your server's attention you will be fine. My server was quite courteous; I expressed hesitation about ordering the carrot curry soup and the server instantly offered a very well presented sample (which was absolutely delicious) - bravo! The bar manager is in touch with the local beer culture as New Belgium's seasonal "Rolle Bolle" is on tap (in my opinion a must for any serious restaurant located in FoCo during summer). The food arrived promptly but not too quick. Well presented and delicious. The cup of soup was much larger and the sandwich half actually smaller than expected but both wonderful. A little pricy for the amount but the atmosphere chic, pleasant and worth the added expense. The facility is clean but not immaculate - several areas needed swept or wiped down. (Oh and the bar cooler makes a subtle yet awful constact squeal much like a loose fan belt, oh thank God it just stopped!) From what I can see of the kitchen it is well maintained and the cook has decent hygiene. Bill came as soon as it was apparent I was through but not too soon. Most importantly: I will be back!

We were visiting Fort Collins for the Colorado Brew Festival and decided to try and sit on the patio of this restaurant. The service was horrendous. I literally had to walk in and beg a bartender for the waters that we ordered 15 min previous. We started with some Calamari and it was cold. After getting one round of beers and waiting to put in our order after about 25 minutes, I went in and told them that I would not be paying for the Calamari and wanted to pay for our drinks and leave. They said they were understaffed (on a Saturday during a very busy time) and that the manager was working as a cook due to this. One nice waitress who was acting as bartender told us not to worry about it and they'd eat the cost of our beers and calamari. I would not recommend this place to anyone to be honest.

To show my dissatisfaction with the incredibly slow server, who often appeared annoyed by my presence, I decided that I would give less than my usual 20% tip for good service. Since it was obvious my server could not care less for anything I had to say, I thought I would let her tip do the talking for me. So, I tipped her $7.00, just about 14% of the bill. After all I did eventually get my food…even if I had to wait for ice cubes to melt to wash it down. Yes, I know that 14% wasn’t that drastic, but in the service industry anything less than 15% will get their attention. Well, when I get my credit card statement I see that the total charged was actually $2.00 more than the amount I approved. So, apparently my server took it on herself to change my “7” to a “9.” Fort Collins is full of wonderful restaurants, so there will never be a need for me to step foot in Ingredient AGAIN! Had the food been phenomenal, maybe I would take the time to phone management and complain. Unfortunately, the truth is that the pizza was only mediocre at best. The best item ordered was the house dressing on my rather plain house salad. That being noted, I can live without it! It’s such a shame because the restaurant occupies a prime location along College Ave, but that alone doesn’t make up for the dishonesty and pitiful service.

Tried something new with my daughter and her friend. Waited 15minutes for someone to acknowledge us and then bring us water. Another 30minutes to get our food. The food I have to say was good. Then another half hour to get our check and I finally had to ask another waiter to take my card. When I asked for the manager, he went to the kitchen and came back and said she said she was too busy to come talk with me. I then asked ANOTHER server for the owners name and information and was told they wouldn't give it to me. He then asked if there was a problem and I explained the above. He said he was one of the managers??? He said it was lunch rush hour (at 230 in the afternoon?? and all but 4 tables inside were EMPTY) and welcome to downtown Fort Collins. I being perturbed explained to him I work for the state, travel all over AND have lived here for seven years and have never been treated like that ANYWHERE. He said oh well and there is nothing I can do about it. Well here I am and I can. BE AWARE. IF YOU LIKE SERVICE and NO ATTITUDE DO NOT GO HERE. Maybe the owner would like to contact me instead.
