According to Wiktionary, Nox (Latin) can also mean 'Darkness', which is appropriate since that's all that I'm getting at The Rumble 2012 website. Damn you Nox Solutions and you're lack of solutions!
#therumble2012    #NoxSolutions    #Darkness
PS NoxSolutions.com is also down. What a shocker.

I say yes. She took a stand, a stand for a girls right to learn. She faced death threats and Taliban sanctions against women. She wrote for the BBC, has been nominated for the International Children's Peace Prize by Desmond Tutu and was the chairman of the District of Swat Child Assembly, Pakistan. Through her impassioned rhetoric she has become a symbol of hope, and an inspiration for millions of people around the world. On October 9th of this year, Taliban forces, claiming Yousafzai "is the symbol of the infidels and obscenity," boarded her school bus and shot her in the head. She was 15 years old.

She survived, and was treated for her wounds in her native Pakistan. Since then she has been moved to the Queen Elizabeth hospital in Birmingham, England and is expected to make a full recovery. If there is anyone who deserves our respect and admiration it is her.

I (finally) got to see the Stewart v. O'Reilly debate. I think I have to change my slogan from 'Tyson-Nye 2012' to 'Stewart-Tyson' 2012 (Sorry Billy Boy, but I think Tyson is (unfortunately) better at the sound byte than you) Although I must say that Stewart-O'Reilly has a nice ring to it.

This actually makes perfect sense. Along with this, each group flashes only the right colors, only supports the right people, they fight over territory, and have no trouble destroying someone else for their own gain. Man, the gang mentality is silly ... oh wait, this is about politics.

Story
Introduction
I like a lot of stuff. Big things, small things, whatever, I just like stuff. Like science,. That's a pretty awesome thing, science is. Astronomy you betcha. How about chemistry? Great stuff there, you should check out Period Table of Videos and if you dig physics, you can check out their physics stuff.

History is neat. I especially enjoy the history of writing, it's genesis and formation. I like cultures. And books. Did I mention I read a lot? Yeah, and watch stirring documentaries like Cosmos. Did I mentions books? Yeah, I like linguistics too. And art. I totally dig statues and stuff. And photography. And music. Played at the Whiskey A-Go-Go once.

I also like to write. And ramble. Don't know if you noticed that bit yet. I've got two blogs (in my head they are and will always be defiantly Journals) in addition to a G+ account. Currently, my Live Journal is for more serious, thoughtful (thought out?) essays, while Blogger is for more off the cuff, light hearted writing. And G+ is mostly for random bits of stuff. Things I find. You know. Stuff.

At least, that's how it is now. A few months ago it was LJ=serious, Bl=Verbal playground. A few months before that it was LJ=conservative, BL=liberal, before that it was satire along the same lines, before that...

Sorry. My calendar of posts is very confusing and often contradictory. Did I mention I'm disorganized? Yeah, I got that going on. It's hard enough in physical reality, where there's actual things and places I put those things, or should put those things. Digital organization? Forget about it. Trying to organize reality is hard enough, organizing the ethereal nothingness of the digital world is far beyond my capabilities.

But that won't stop me from writing and rambling and puttering around the internet pointing out interesting things or pictures that make me go "Ooh, pretty!"
