Who doesn't like numbers and pretty graphs? :)
Before I get anywhere, let me convey my thanks to slhck for his help with the data visualization and his awesome R skills. Having got that out of the way, let's look at some stats involving Ask Ubu...

On a rainy Sunday, unable to venture outside... I made this RPM package for Corebird. I don't know where or what to upload. So, I put the whole thing as a tarball. Please try it if you are on Fedora. :)

Unity Tweak Tool Available In The Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail Repositories: http://www.webupd8.org/2013/03/unity-tweak-tool-available-in-ubuntu.html

Unity Tweak Tool is a relatively new application that allows you to configure Unity, providing access to settings buried deep in Dconf-Tools or CCSM.

The tool developed by a team which includes lead developer Barneedhar Vigneshwar and Georgi Karavasilev is now available in the Ubuntu Software Center for Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail (and so, in the official repositories), so there's no need to use a PPA anymore, which should expose this excellent tool to a lot more users. The application is also available in a PPA for Ubuntu 12.10.

There's a nice little useful feature that we have bundled into unity-tweak-tool, but is not much publicized. If you ever wanted to reset the settings of Unity and Compiz, you can run the command `unity-tweak-tool --reset-unity` and it would give you a clean slate to start over.

This procedure is a lot safer than resetting using dconf that popular Ubuntu blogs recommend. Please feel free to use it and report any bugs that you may encounter.

Introducing Fishie!

We, the folks that brought you Unity Tweak Tool –+Freyja Development Team– have forked Nautilus to bring you what we feel is a better file managing/browsing experience.

A few changes:
 - the sidebar has been moved to the right since extensive user testing shows that most people are right-handed.
 - the navigation buttons have been separated putting the left one on the left and the right one on the right for ease of discoverability.
- trends show us that nobody uses a list view or ever changes their view so we removed all those features
- we placed the menu button and search buttons front-and-centre so that people must notice that that is where their options are

We also have more features coming, such as YouTube integration with your Videos folder. Stay tuned!

A pre-release can be found at my github: https://github.com/snwh/fishie/

This guy seems to know more about Mechanig than I would ever do.

Judging by the already-available code, Mechanig is to be probably launched in the near future.

That bit is quite surprising and exciting though. :P
