Hey....you used one of my photos of the comet in this. :)
The comet can now be seen naked eye, if you're under fairly dark skies. Hope you guys and gals in the Northern Hemisphere get a good show.

I wonder if any of these girls will be flying to Mars in the future. :)
I love their enthusiasm. :)

My friend Terry Lovejoy had discovered this comet from his backyard a few months prior and early on Christmas Morning it rose above the horizon, showing of it's tremendous tail. The Southern Cross and Pointers are to the top right of the photo.
What saddened me most was that the Australian media showed absolutely no interest in his discovery. Fortunately NASA did and they turned 5 of their space craft toward it and followed it on it's journey around the Sun. (He has found a new comet, that I'm following/imaging at the moment Comet 2014 Q2 Lovejoy, I have my latest photos on my FB page and on Flickr)

Seriously, during the next week or so, grab some binoculars and head out to a dark site and check this comet out. :)
It's a coma shows as a nice fuzzy dark green patch in the sky.

Story
Tagline
Amateur Astronomer and Astro Imager.
Introduction
I live in beautiful South East Queensland.
My main passion is Astronomy, focussing on the Astro Imaging side of the hobby.
I'm a long time member of the IceInSpace astronomy forum, the best Astronomy site on the interwebs. :D

Bragging rights
Mad keen Amateur Astronomer and Astrophotographer. It's beyond a passion, it's a lifestyle choice. My brag sheet. :) Two of my images are on permanent display at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Centre, Maryland. They are being used to show the Visual Light versions of objects that have been imaged by the Spitzer IR Telescope. My image of "Corona Australis" was short listed in the Royal Observatory Greenwich, Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2011. I'm very proud to have had my work published in magazines across the globe. The US mag "Astronomy Technology Today" published my article on Astro Imaging, commissioned by iOptron. (2009) "The Astronomer" UK , front cover, October 2010 (Large Magellanic Cloud) "The Astronomer" UK , back cover, May 2011 (Antares dust cloud ) "The Astronomer" UK, front cover with my LMC / Comet Lovejoy conjunction image. "Australian Sky and Telescope" July 2011 "Australian Sky and Telescope" Oct/Nov 2011 Sept. 2012, I was honoured to be asked to be one of the Guest speakers (via video link up) at the BAA Horncastle Astronomy Weekend in the UK. One of my images was featured on the BBC's "The One Show" (UK) Sept 2012 My work is currently hanging at the Kilcoy Art Gallery, Kilcoy, QLD and at the Time and Space Gallery, La Canada, California. November 2012, I was very privileged to spend an afternoon with Prof. Brian Cox. Thanks to BBC Knowledge for giving me this opportunity. :) In May this year I got to spend more time with Prof. Brian Cox as well as the legendary Apollo Astronauts Fred Haise (Apollo 13) Gene Cernan (Apollo X & 17) Scott Carpenter, Dave Scott (the first man to drive on the Moon, Gemini 8, Apollo 9 & 15 ), Alan Bean (Apollo 12 & Skylab) to name a few. Most recently I've been invited to take part in the UK Women in Astronomy exhibit at the North West Astronomy Festival 2013 in Cheshire.
