Went to Harlem hospital due to severe abdominal pain stood in the hall way in pain for 4 hours I asked a nurse where are the doctors she said one will be with me shortly which is what another said to me 4 hours prior... they gave me a room and shut the curtain for another 4 hours where I was still in severe pain and began to vomit.. finally my bf came and started cursing at everyone before a doctor finally came to see me (mind you there were no emergencies taking place or anyone giving birth), I was laying in that bed for 4 hrs with a needle in my arm no medical attention.. in severe pain AND all the doctor did was give me a VERY strong pain killer which also knocked me out (sleep) for another 3 hours.. then gave me discharge papers and told me I was fine.. I came to the doctor for medical attention due to serious blood loss through PMS ..I found I had severe anemia from another doctor at a brooklyn hospital.. don't go to Harlem if you value your life.

Got a tick bite and waiting in the emergency room for 4 hours and then they said it is not sure if they take a blood test. I had to see my physician. Today I wanted to make an appointment in the Harlem Clinic and the send me back to the emergency room. The said listen - but I am asking to the listen to the patients? I did not get the feeling and was treated not at all in a way how you treat patient. After a question it was said to me: Have a nice day!

I almost died waiting to see a doctor for 8 hours! If i'm dying in an ambulance I will tell them to take me to Lennox Hill Hospital,l the care and professionalism are night and day! Very unprofessional....I had to curse the staff out after 8 hours of waiting to FINALLY see a doctor in the ER.

Terrible medical service. I came here to get treated for a Bell's Palsy and I've spent 8hrs in a room with just one chair with no accommodation let alone any doctor visit. This shall be the last hospital any one shall come.

Even though you have to wait in the waiting room for an hour or 2, I consider most of the staff is professional and patient. When one is using obamacare or has medicaid, there is no more to be expected. I would recommend Harlem hospital.

Excellent! We came from St. Barnabas where the care was nonexistent (now that was horrible!) arriving at Harlem Hospital at around 2:00 in the morning, and a doctor and assistants, 6 people, came to the cab and helped my niece into a wheelchair. We left St. Barnabas at 2 am after being there for approximately 8 hours, my niece unable to walk. We left Harlem Hospital at 6:00 am, my niece walking out! I'll sing Harlem Hospital's praises; they were exemplary!
