We used to order pretty often from Haru when we lived in the Union Square. But we rarely went there because the restaurant was usually very crowded. The food was always pretty good. I did not enjoy anything except for their rolls. We had some good luck with deserts, but not always. Overall t is a good place to go for sushi, but there are better places for the same price or even less.

This is a great place to see music but they will sit you with a stranger if you don't reserve a table. Great atmosphere for a nice evening of music.

Good food with reasonable lunch menu but the service was horrible. Hostess was rude and they served me food I asked to leave out because of food allergies. No apologies.

How I wish they would suck it up and deliver to the other side of West Street to those of us in BPC! Their sushi is great, albeit slightly pricey. The rolls are more adventurous and offer a welcome departure from the traditional 'special rolls' found on every other NYC sushi menu. Their appetizers, namely the dumplings (both varieties) are also excellent. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking to dine with the locals.
