How I wish they would suck it up and deliver to the other side of West Street to those of us in BPC! Their sushi is great, albeit slightly pricey. The rolls are more adventurous and offer a welcome departure from the traditional 'special rolls' found on every other NYC sushi menu. Their appetizers, namely the dumplings (both varieties) are also excellent. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking to dine with the locals.

Excellent selection of sushi and "big maki" rolls. The dishes here are more unique and have more flavor and non traditional ingredients compared to other typical Japanese restaurants. Save space for the green tea mille crepe cake.

Decent quality sushi. The scallop appetizer was a bit overcooked, but still very tasty and seasoned well. Their fish is imported directly from Japan, as prominently stated on their menu. The sushi/sashimi combo dinner entree featured a good selection, and the fish was fresh. Service was friendly and very attentive.

Real Japanese food. I really respect the work style of those who work here. They are professional in cooking authentic Japanese. As a native Japanese I recommend this restaurant.

one of the greatest most understated sushi joints in the city. wide variety of fresh fish and a staff that steer you to the right choices. quality consistently high. my wife and are avid sushi fans and have sampled all the top restaurants in nyc, tokyo, san fran, and los angeles. this is easily one of the top 5.
