Unfortunately, we came at a busy time when they were out of most of the ingredients we ordered. I am vegan and when my food came, it had real cheese on it because the server had been very busy. I did get the correct item a while later but boxed it up and didn't really get to enjoy it the next day cold out of the fridge. I will have to return when they are less busy to actually experience the food!

The food here is actually pretty good, but it is in a rundown type of place. The reason for the low rating is because of the nasty stench that was at the Diner when we arrived. It smelled like spilled garbage. I had bought a groupon for it and the reviews were good for the place so I decided to stay. The Veggie burger was pretty good. Wasn't too fond of the burrito though. Green mix was good too!

Did I come to the right place? This place is nothing like what it seems to be. Atmosphere: I have to get this off my chest first: there were THREE (3) FLIES flying around me the WHOLE time I was eating! I had to switch utensils because one of them landing on my knife at one point! Anyway, the neighborhood was dangerous and creepy, and I couldn't even see the place when I drove by since it was so dim and dark. When I went in, there were a couple of empty tables with uncleaned dishes, not surprising, since there were a total of THREE staff: one waitress, one cook, and one dishwasher. The floor was broken, the walls were pale, the chairs and tables were dirty. Look, I like art, but I don't like eating next to paintings of fat naked cartoon people. I wanted to vomit just by looking at those arts. Please remove them...... The WORST part is that the dishwasher and sink were right outside beside the cash register. It's a restaurant for crying out loud, how appetizing is it to look at dirty dishes being washed when you are eating? Service: I sat down as the waitress cleaned the table for me and left the utensils and menus on the chair and walked away; she didn't even remember to put them back on the table. I waited and waited, for 10 minutes, then I went up to the counter and actually asked "Do I order up here or wait for you at the table?". And THEN the waitress comes by afterwards. Oh, it took a total of 50 minutes for all our food to arrive, with the first dish arriving after 40 minutes wait time, and you know what it was? The coffee I ordered at first. Food: I am not biased, and the food was actually not bad. Not good, but not bad. I will come back to eat again if it's not for everything else. What a shame.

One of the few spots I could find in the area that serves breakfast. Breakfast is great, a good solid meal. Prices are ok, juice and coffee are rather expensive. Though you do get fresh squeezed juices and gigantic cups of coffee. That said, I will definitely be going there for breakfast again.

A nice vegan spot with non-vegan options for a pretty good price. I was expecting the portions to be small at the price points but the servings were well-sized. I had the mac and cheese. To my surprise the side salad that came with the dish wasn't just a cheap bunch of soggy greens. It was a garden mix topped with a light tasty dressing, orange pegs and caramelised (?) Walnuts. I'm not a salad/veggie guy at all (my wife is the vegan and really wanted to try this spot. I'm not vegan or vegetarian) but the salad was good. I haven't tried many restaurant mac and cheese dishes but this was really good. My wife had the Caesar salad, which she loved, and the tofu scramble breakfast which she didn't like as much. Apparently it was lacking flavour. I was impressed the the size of the serving though, but after tasting the tofu I agree it could have used more flavour. The decor isn't the most fancy but i don't think they are going for that. It feels like eating at your mom's or grandma's kitchen table in the 80s , with the added flair of some unique art on the wall and 80s music playing. We left satisfied but not overly impressed. Its not a spot that would compel me to go out of my way to get a certain dish, but I'd consider it again if in the area.

Great diner feel with a delicious menu. Looks a bit dated and can probably do with an interior update, but nice staff and very welcoming! I'm not one for trying everything on a menu, so the many times I've gone, I always get the lunch burrito - really yummy!
