"Dot" 16 x 16" Oil on canvas, gallery wrap. (all 4 sides painted) This type of portrait makes a great gift, as it doesn't need framing. I added her name tag per the owner's request. Such a cute puppy!

Well this was a very different commission! The client wanted his mentor's face on Caesar's body, in an appropriate setting. The background is based on a old painting, and the body on a statue. It's 22x28".

This was my favorite Christmas portrait to do, because it was for family. My sis-in-law commissioned it for her husband, John Longstreth. But at the same time, it was sad because Maggie passed away recently. She was a very sweet, smart, well-behaved dog.

"Rusty" 9x12 Oil on Canvas. A Christmas commission from a photographer to his fiance. They live in different states, so she doesn't get to see her dog much. Someday they'll all be together!

"Gojira" 20x24" Oil on canvas. This was a fun one to paint! Gojira is a huge, 16 year old gentle giant.

I have been busy doing design work, and not as many portraits, but I did get accepted as a member of the California Art Club- http://www.californiaartclub.org/,
and was selected again to participate in the Pasadena ArtWalk, so looking forward to that. I'll be showing some of my "Memento Boxes" as well as portraits. http://www.pasadenaartweekend.com/

This is one reason I love dogs so much - the love and devotion is so evident!

I now offer custom framing, along with my "stock" framing packages. Custom is a better quality product, and there's more selection, but the stock frames don't look bad! And are much less expensive. Here are photos of both types:
