New Video: Rouhani Ilaj Kesay Hota Hai? | By Younus AlGohar https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vntahp0MxOQ

Younus AlGohar answers a question from a viewer who asked about whether spiritual healing is possible and how.

Main points:

- Spiritual healing is possible; Jesus Christ performed spiritual healing and His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi also granted many people permission to perform spiritual healing. Every organ in the human body has its own designated soul which has its own energy. When there is a lack of energy in the soul of a specific organ, the function of that organ is affected. In the early days, people would be cured of all illnesses through spiritual healing alone; however, in Moses's era, God sent a prophet dedicated to medicine: Luqman.

- When God sent Prophet Luqman, he also enclosed the energy that could be used to heal specific organs in different fruits and herbs. For example, mangos help detoxify the kidneys - that is why it is also shaped like a kidney. Apples are shaped like hearts and they help promote healthy hearts. Luqman prescribed different fruits and herbs to cure different organs in the human body. But now in this era, herbal medicine is wholly ineffective, especially due to the fact that the fruit and herbs have been genetically modified; they are not in their original form today.

- In original spiritual healing, one who has divine energy in them recites the Word of God and blows upon the patient. The divine energy mixes with the breath; it goes into the body and replaces the lost energy in the afflicted organ. Spiritual healing is only effective if the person performing it has divine energy in the spiritual faculties of the chest.

New Video: Allah Ko Gunahgar Ke Aansoo Kiyon Pasand Hain? | By Younus AlGohar https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JhqoCZFyhfo

Younus AlGohar's speech elaborating on what it means when we say that God likes the tears of sinners.

Main points:

- The Lower Self of a common person who does not practise spirituality is impure. If he listens to the lecture of the clerics in which they depict the Scene of Death, and then starts crying, these are not the tears that God likes. The tears that God likes of a person are those that are shed during the process of Purgation of the Lower Self. God likes the tears of those who are, at the very least, one who has the Blameworthy Self.

- We think that the Lower Self is the root of all evil and once it is purified, one does not have an excuse or reason to sin. However, many people became saints and then they committed a sin. If someone commits a sin after becoming a saint he is absolutely shocked. He doesn't understand what happened. He checks his spiritual state and sees that his Lower Self is pure and his desires are pure - he then turns to God and asks how it happened. God replies, 'I like the tears of sinners.' So in this case, they happen to commit the sin and the power behind it is God's. These are known as Predestined Sins.

- There are two types of Predestined Sins. One is the Predestined Sin you commit before being granted a rank; the other is the Predestined Sin you commit after being granted a rank. Predestined Sins are not minor sins. One Predestined Sin is enough to humble your Lower Self for the rest of your life; it is one where you disobey God. When you commit a Predestined Sin, you have no control over yourself; you commit the sin like a robot.

- There are some sins that God makes a person do in order to dismantle his pride - the pride he builds up in himself due to his piety and worship. The pride that develops when you don't sin is cleansed when you commit a Predestined Sin. By making someone commit a Predestined Sin, God wants them to make progress in spirituality and develop humility.

- God does not like just any tears - he only likes the tears shed when one's Lower Self feels blameworthy. If someone comes and cries before a Sufi, the first thing the Sufi does is check his Lower Self. If the Lower Self is feeling blameworthy, then the Sufi will believe the tears, otherwise, he won't. Whether or not your tears are accepted by God depends on the condition of your Lower Self.

- In order the purify the Lower Self, you have to change its diet from negative energy to divine energy. First, you have to weaken it through physical hardship and hunger. Then, once it is weakened, the Spiritual Guide makes a cage of divine energy around the Lower Self, cutting off its supply of negative energy and causing it to go hungry. Once it is starving, the Spiritual Guide offers it divine energy, which it may take simply to survive. The Spiritual Guide tells it to recite the Kalima (Motto of Faith) in order to obtain its new diet of divine energy - this will eventually change the Lower Self from Ammarah (The Commanding Self) to Lawamma (The Blameworthy Self).

New Video: Talimat-e-Mustafa (saw) Tasawwuf Ki Meraj | By Younus AlGohar https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-C_bgVC4AIE

Younus AlGohar gives the true introduction to Sufism and how Prophet Mohammad took spiritual knowledge to its culmination.

Main points:

- When a Spiritual Guide is appointed by God, he has God's image in his heart. God sends 360 theophanies upon that image every day. God would send 360 theophanies upon the saints and 500 theophanies upon Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani every day. However, Prophet Mohammad was constantly under the divine theophanies - all day and night. This is why the Lower Selves of some Companions of the Prophet were purified just by being in his physical company; they didn't need to adopt any spiritual austerity to achieve it.

- We started the campaign of Dhikr-e-Qalb (The Opening of the Spiritual Heart) about 40 years ago. People think that it is incredibly important for the heart to engage in God's remembrance. This is true, but it is not the only way to spiritual progress. One's spiritual progress depends on the Spiritual Guide. The Spiritual Guide may have some disciples engage in invocation, whereas for some people, he will enlighten them with his spiritual concentration alone. More important than all the rules and laws in spirituality is to listen to the Spiritual Guide.

- Once you have pledged allegiance to a divinely appointed Spiritual Guide, you don't have to worry about the Day of Judgement or the questions in the grave; you belong to him and he will take you wherever he goes. All you have to do is determine whether the one you are about to pledge allegiance to is really a man or God or not.

- We are living in an era where no spiritual austerity or control over one’s diet can purify the Lower Self. The ratio of negative energy in the atmosphere is far too high. Today if anyone's Lower Self is to be purified, it will be possible only through the spiritual concentration of Imam Mehdi Gohar Shahi.

- Prophet Mohammad wasn't just a prophet or a messenger. When the entire attributes of God converge into one, that is Prophet Mohammad. Sufism has been the soul of every religion. But when the religion of Islam was established, due to Prophet Mohammad's blessings, Sufism reached its culmination. The basis of every religion is Deen-e-Hanif: when your tongue invokes upon God and your heart also invokes upon God, this is when you enter Deen-e-Hanif. Most of our Muslims think that the total representation of Islam is the performance of worship, but this is not true. Before everything else, the most important thing is to establish a connection between you and God.

New Video: Halala in Islam: Haram Ya Halal? | By Younus AlGohar https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zX95t1obHi8

Younus AlGohar answers a viewer-submitted question about the reality of Halala (a temporary marriage which supposedly allows a divorcee to remarry her ex-husband according to Islamic law).

Main points:

- Halala is unquestionably prohibited (haram) in Islam. A woman can only remarry her ex-husband if she has been divorced by him, married to another man and then her second husband also divorces her. This has to be a natural process for it to be valid in Islam.

- According to a famous Prophetic Tradition, 'Your actions depend on your intentions.' The intentions behind Halala are not for the woman and the new groom to have a genuine marriage, therefore the marriage vows they recite during the Halala are not valid. This is just something made up by the clerics to bypass the religious laws. For example, to eat and drink in the mosques is not allowed - however, clerics say, 'Express the intention of performing Itikaf and then you can eat in the mosque.' When you do this, you may be saying that you intend to do Itikaf, but your real intention is to eat; therefore, this deceptive. God looks at your intentions.

- Clerics in the UK, Canada and USA have made Halala into a lucrative business. They have created Halala packages and they get to have a new bride every day on top of that. However, there is nothing in the Customs of Prophet Mohammad or the Koran that endorse Halala.

- To say that you divorced your wife in anger is just an excuse. There are some things you don't do, even in anger, like ending your own life. When you care so much about your own life, why don't you care about following the Koran and Customs of Prophet Mohammad while you are angry? A marriage ends in Islam when the husband says 'I divorce you' three times to his wife. There is no need to say 'I divorce you' three times all at once. This is not the way outlined by the Koran and Prophet Mohammad. Islam teaches that say give the divorces one at a time. If you are a Muslim, follow the path outlined by the Koran and Prophet Mohammad, and you will never need a Halala.

New Video: Sharia or Democracy | Islami Nizam Ya Jamhooriyat | By Younus AlGohar https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PEN2Oguz6PM

Younus AlGohar’s monumental speech on the possibility of implementing an Islamic government in Pakistan.

Main points:

- In Islam, there is no room for democracy. Democracy is a worldly system that has nothing to do with religion. Prophet Mohammad did not do politics in the way we tend to think of politics - he worked for the spiritual and societal welfare of humanity. He connected people to God and taught them how to live harmoniously with one another.

- An Islamic government would only work when the residents are all Muslims. Today, there are over 73 sects in Islam. If one were to implement Islamic Sharia as the law of the country, they would have to decide which sect’s Sharia they would impose. Secondly, if they were to impose the Sharia of a particular sect, then that sect would destroy the other 72 sects and their followers. Therefore, it is in the interest of humanity that the system of governance be a secular one which respects the rights of all people and gives them freedom of religion. Religion should be considered a personal matter between an individual and God.

- If you want to implement the same system of governance that Prophet Mohammad established in Medina, first you have to have the same Islam and you need connection to Prophet Mohammad. Today, that Islam is nowhere to be seen - nor do you have any connection to Prophet Mohammad. In Saudi Arabia, Islam is not practised - it is a society in which one develops arrogance and disdain for the saints of God. If a society encourages such negative vices, how could it be Islamic? Similarly, Iran has its own version of Islam which has been modified to account for the excess of women and shortage of men following the Iran-Iraq War.

- Today, Islam no longer connects you to God or caters to your spiritual needs. When a religion is not able to take care of your spiritual needs, how can it provide you with a political solution? Every society necessitates a system based on equality and fairness in which no one suffers injustice. Such a system cannot be religiously based, because religion causes divisions. Unification will come through a secular system in which spirituality thrives - and such a system will be implemented in Pakistan under the blessings of Imam Mehdi. Then, it will not matter what religion one practices - as long as they love God, they will be in the majority and they will support Imam Mehdi.

New Video: Ishq-e-Majazi Ki Haqeeqat | By Younus AlGohar https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XImOm9z0Sr8

Younus AlGohar responds to a viewer’s question about the reality of Ishq-e-Majazi (Romantic Love) in light of spirituality.

Main points:

- Love is a topic that has always been misunderstood. Love is another word for attraction. There are many types of love; to determine which types of love are lawful and which are unlawful in the eyes of God, we have to see what the source of the attraction is. His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi once said, ‘If somebody has money and he doesn’t love it, he is lying. If somebody has children and he doesn’t love them, he is lying. If somebody has been granted the Personal Name of God and he doesn’t love it, he is lying.’ Love of money or one’s children are not beneficial to one’s faith; however, love of the Personal Name of God is beneficial to the faith. If the Lower Self is involved in the love you have for someone, then it is Carnal Love.

- Ishq-e-Majazi (Romantic Love) does happen. There are many examples in history and culture of famous couples who had this type of love: Sassi-Pannu in Sindh, Pakistan, Sohni-Mahiwal in Punjab, Qais-Laila in the Arab world, Shirin-Farhad in Iran. Ishq-e-Majazi occurs between people whose souls lived together in the Realm of Souls; it was in the Realm of Souls that they developed love for one another. When two souls who lived together come down on Earth at the same time, they fall in love with one another all over again. These are the only circumstances where there is Ishq-e-Majazi. The relationships of these famous couples were based on intense, platonic love. There was no element of lust between them; they would spend time together as if they were brother and sister.

- In the past, some spiritual dignitaries used Ishq-e-Majazi as a tool to takes disciples towards God’s love. Waris Shah’s Spiritual Guide told him to first go and love a woman, and then he would connect him to God. So Waris Shah fell in love with a woman and after he completed this stage of Ishq-e-Majazi, his Spiritual Guide turned his love towards God. Ishq-e-Majazi is both pure and lawful, that is why it was used by saints to direct one’s love towards God. Had it been impure, it could not be used in the path towards God.

- Normally, when one falls in love with a man or a woman, they develop lustful thoughts. If you feel lust for the one you love, it is Carnal Love. Loving another human being is not bad, but it becomes an issue when it is Carnal Love. In Carnal Love, both parties exchange negative energy; the negative energy affects one’s souls and it enters the bloodstream, hurdling in the way towards God.

New Video: Aurat Aur Muashray Ki Ziadati | By Younus AlGohar https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=10aICHdN9PI&feature=youtu.be

Younus AlGohar’s answer to a viewer's question about the struggles women face in the modern-day society.

Main points:

- Women have made a huge contribution to society and the world. Without women, the world would be a very different place. Women go through childbirth and then they raise the children. The fact that women get menses is not injustice from God; rather, it is simply because menses is a necessary part of the reproductive process. God has given men 9 parts intellect and 1 part love; he has given women 9 parts love and 1 part intellect. If a woman so chooses, she can use all 9 parts of her love for God and therefore, she could go further than men in loving God.

- There is a certain mindset in Pakistan and India, in which people put pressure on a woman to give birth to a boy, not a girl. However, whether the child is male or female rests entirely in God's hands. Medically speaking, the sex of the child is not determined in any way by the woman's egg; rather, it is the male sperm that determines it. To tell a woman that she must give birth to a baby boy is actually a form of Shirk (appointing a partner with God) - because it is God who decides whether the baby will be male or female.

- In Pakistan, people prefer sons over daughters. One of the reasons for this is because of the culture of showing off that has become part of the society. Marriages, according to the Customs of Prophet Mohammad, should be a simple affair; however, in Pakistan, there are so many unnecessary expenses to marriage - such as a grand dowry and extravagant wedding events stretched over many days - that getting one daughter married leaves a man penniless. Since there is extreme poverty in Pakistan, when a daughter is born, the family may not be happy because the thought dominating their minds is how they will pay for her upbringing and eventual marriage according to the hypocritical standards of Pakistani society. If people were to begin getting their children married according to Prophet Mohammad's way, no one would be unhappy when a baby girl is born.

New Video: Kiya Mazarat Par Jaana Shirk Hai? | By Younus AlGohar https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWf9Evlmh6c

Younus AlGohar's enlightening lecture about visiting the shrines of Saints. Is it permissible or forbidden in the Sharia of Islam?

Main points:

- Many people have such questions in their minds. When these questions are left unanswered, their tenet changes. They begin to believe that the saints in the grave have died and are unable to hear the prayers of people and unable to help them. If that was the case then how will common people be questioned in the grave? Who will be shown the image of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)? This indicates that the senses will be intact in the grave.

- We need to see whether every dead person is truly deceased. God has placed five souls in the breast of every human being, one soul in the head; these six souls are called ‘Celestial Souls’ and if these six souls are revived then within the lifetime of a human being, these souls are able to leave the body and engage in different activities.

- A Prophetic Tradition states: The difference between human beings and animals is due to these subtleties. A human being is able to reach the Empyrean of God with the help of these subtleties and animals do not possess these subtleties; they remain in the world. If you are the best creation then you should do something that none else can. Neither the Archangels nor the angels should be able to do it, nor the birds or animals. What is that thing? The celestial souls.

- Those who have enlightened and empowered these subtleties gained access to God. When they completed their time in this world and it was time for their death, [out of all the celestial souls] one of the souls, the Human Soul, goes back up and the remaining subtleties, which were enlightened remained in the grave and worship, so they must also be able to hear the prayers of people.

- Going to the shrine is more or less like meeting that saint physically, during his lifetime. The only difference is that before his souls were in his body and now they are in the grave. When the souls were in his body, they were revived and now that they are in the grave they are still revived. Therefore, going to the shrines is a means to obtain blessings and benevolence.

New Video: Zikar-e-Qalb Deir Se Kiyon Jaari Hota Hai? | By Younus AlGohar https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Nk-fd98OYU

Younus AlGohar explains the factors which influence how long it takes for a person’s Spiritual Heart to be initiated with Dhikr (invocation of God’s name).

Main points:

- The purpose of synchronising God’s name with the heartbeats is to generate divine energy which will revive the Spiritual Heart which is in a dormant state atop the fleshy heart. For some people, His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi directly revives their Spiritual Heart, whereas common people’s hearts are revived first by implanting God’s name in the heartbeats.

- Thee are 180 000 esoteric veils upon the Spiritual Heart which comprise vices such as arrogance, lust and jealousy. As long as the veils of vices are upon your heart, your heart cannot invoke upon God. Only the Spiritual Guide can remove the veils with his spiritual concentration. Divine energy will only reach the Spiritual Heart once the veils upon it are removed.

- There are two types of people in the world: those who engage in physical sins and those who are involved in esoteric sins. Worldly people are involved in physical sins while religious people are more involved in esoteric sins. As long as one is a physical sinner, he is humble. Esoteric sins such as arrogance, jealous and enmity will lay waste to your good deeds. If you do not have a lot of esoteric sins, your Spiritual Heart will be initiated with Dhikr (invocation of God’s name) quicker. If it is taking time for you, perhaps the esoteric sins accumulated in your heart are a hurdle.

- To engage your Spiritual Heart in God’s remembrance is no small feat. It is a move to befriend God, so do not lose hope; have patience. If your Spiritual Heart is revived, it means God is pleased with you. Once your Spiritual Heart is revived in God’s remembrance, you must not turn away from the path of God’s love, for this is the path of the elite. When a Spiritual Heart invokes upon God, the Empyrean of God shakes with God’s name. If your Spiritual Heart is revived with God’s name, the devil cannot enter it. When you are in possession of a Spiritual Heart that remembers God, it is the first step towards becoming an Enlightened Conscience.

- If your Spiritual Heart is not revived immediately, do not lose hope. His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi has blessed countless people. If you form a conjecture about His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi in which you believe that His Divine Eminence will bless you too, no matter what, then you will be blessed. There is no human being who genuinely wants to obtain blessings from HDE Gohar Shahi and he doesn’t get it; The only circumstance you won’t get blessed in is when you yourself don’t want to be blessed.

New Video: Gustakh-e-Rasool (saw) Ke Saath Kiya Karna Chahiye? | By Younus AlGohar https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fSPzArr7h3c

Younus AlGohar answers a question from a viewer who wanted to know how Muslims should handle blasphemous caricatures of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).

Main points:

- People who make such caricatures are mischief-mongers who are trying to incite Muslims towards violence. Because of the terrorist activity being done under the label of Islam, Muslims have to be very careful in this delicate matter. Muslims need to bring their concerns to the global community in a civilised manner - they must contact their governments with their concerns. That is what will make a real difference. If you protest in anger and destroy people’s property in your country, it doesn’t serve the purpose.

- No cartoons were drawn in Prophet Mohammad’s era. In Prophet Mohammad’s era, things were very different: people could walk around with swords in hand and things like Qisas ul Diyat would be applied because of the general lack of law in the area. Today, we have a modern system of governance and advanced technology, which means that many things that applied in Prophet Mohammad’s era do not apply today. For example, because it has become so easy and convenient to travel, Qasr Salat is no longer applicable.

- People have the audacity to make blasphemous caricatures of the Prophet Mohammad because today, Muslims have lost their honour in the eyes of the global community. They are not strong. The Koran 3:139 says that Muslims would remain to be dominant upon the world as long as they would be Momin (Enlightened Believers). When Muslims became divided into sects and they no longer had divine energy in their hearts, that is when they lost their power and strength. Today, Muslims have a reputation in the world for being money-worshippers, not God-fearing people. Why are the wealthy Muslim countries not standing up for this issue? This is because they no longer have faith in their hearts.
