I would support this because it is the right thing to do.

UNEXPLAINED, INEXCUSABLE ( via +Scott Norcross )

I challenge you to read this and NOT have the will to click share.

No one has been able to explain to me why young men and women serve in the U.S. Military for 20 years, risking their lives protecting freedom, and only get 50% of their pay. While Politicians hold their political positions in the safe confines of the capital, protected by these same men and women, and receive full pay retirement after serving one term. It just does not make any sense.

If each person that reads this will click share, in three days, most people in the United States of America will have the message.. This is one proposal that really should be passed around.

Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution:

"Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States

Here is one of the photos I took on a flight around Mt. St. Helens one week before the big eruption.  Mt. Rainier in the Background.

This is one of the better reviews I've read on Windows 8.  Definitely worth the time to read.

Hi Tom,

Yes, it's good to hear from you too. My guitar is a Gibson CS-356 made from mahogany, quilted maple, and ebony. Thanks, she is beautiful and rare. I spent a year looking for her, and found her waiting for me in Louisville, Colorado.

I jumped back into music last August after a 45-year hiatus. I'm learning blues and jazz and lots of music theory from a local guitar musician who has a studio just a few miles from the house. I blog extensively on my musical journey so drop by for a visit at http://kennyharrison.com.

You look well and rather relaxed. That's great! I tried looking for you on FB but no luck. Are you still on there?

I am now seeing an icon for Google Reader in my Google+ menu.  Is this another Google joke or is it something we can count on going forward?  WTF Google?

Story
Introduction
I am a lifelong technology geek.  My life has seen the transition from vacuum tubes to transistors and then on to the integrated circuit.  As a kid I always had my head buried in an old radio cabinet or TV.  I remember when I got my first transistor radio.  I knew change was coming, just didn't realize how far reaching it would be.

My experiences as a child shaped a lifelong career associated with technology.  Jumping forward several decades I now live in the greater Seattle area and work in IT with a focus on data/process analysis and continuous improvement/operational excellence.

Whenever possible I like to escape the city and get into the woods.  This is an easy thing to do in the Pacific Northwest.

I should also add that I have just started up with the guitar again.  As if I didn't have enough challenges in life.
