Suggestion no 2 on my list... I had a situation and sometimes these can happen often in the gym if it's really busy, we have to make do with what is free to avoid any long weights. It's really easy already to add adhoc exercises at the time but I still have to troll through all the exercises to find what I need.
Now what i'd like is a favorites system as a there are exercises in the databases i'd never use. So simple button / option to mark favorite in the exercise lists but I'd like to be able toggle my favorites in the filter list draw. Example, when I swipe left to get the filter options, I can see a button / option in there to only show favorites per selected muscle group. When active a further filter is applied to show favorites only per selected muscle group or if it's off, it behaves just as it does now and shows the full list per selected muscle group.
Now that would be really useful!! :) Hope that makes sense :)
Right then, suggestion no 1 on my list. I like the "earlier workouts" especially the summary but the previous workouts list is starting to get big.
How do you feel about implementing a calendar and the days which have workouts will show those icons with the letters in them (not sure what they are called).
Clicking on the workout would show a popup with the exercises completed on the day and may be some stats . Long press could offer some options such as copy or do selected exercises now similar to how viewing previous workouts works now and clicking the little weight lifter icon top right.
I think this would make a fantastic addition to the app. I'd love to see a month view with visuals to see exactly how I'm doing with my gym attendance.
Application stopped expectantly. Ok, I'm trying to remember how this happened but it's typical I can't replicate it. I'm sure it happened when moving something from a draw then came out from the left and I remember accidentally double clicking something when moving but can't seem to do it again but I'll keep trying to pinpoint it.
Quick question regarding budgets. I know there is a custom date range but is there a way to configure the budget monthly periods to start on another date other than the 1st of a month. I get paid on the 26th of each month so I need my budget to take this into consideration. Is there a way of doing this? Many thanks.
Drag Handle problem. Using the drag handle on my s4, the values jump and can't get the value I need using it so have to pop up the keyboard. Example, if I have 10 reps hold the drag handle and push up to show 11 then it might jump to 13 and I can't get it to show 12 at all. Same thing happens for the weight as well.
I dont feel pressured at all over here, I just like it when things are tidy, usually I fix bugs as this as soon as I or someone else finds them but this time itll have to wait, for the greater good :)
Before using the app for the first time, I spent a bit of time creating my own schedule. Now something odd happened while doing that. I was using the filters to view specific exercises but the filters decided not to work and got stuck on "back" so no matter what filters I then choose, it only showed the exercises for back in the list.
Also when this happened, I saved the schedule and although I have 9 exercises shown when editing the day, it only showed the 2 I had added and saved earlier on the page where you begin your workout. Edit the day again, it shows 9, save it again then it only showed 2. I guess your caching the data in memory so a restart of the app fixed it and the 9 exercises then showed.
Not sure what I did though for this behavior to start happening.
The sync will be really useful indeed and provide users with confidence all their data is easily recoverable. I'll have suggestions ironed out over my next few gym sessions. I'll have my thinking head on this week :)
I've used this app for the first time today in the gym and love it. Can there please be an option that will either pre populate an exercise last min weight with it's reps so I don't have to flick between the history all the time as I can see this as a show stopper for me as things need to be quick and easy. Even showing the weight and reps recorded for the last time the exercise was completed on the same screen as the weight and rep entry page would help.
I'll post that force close shortly, need to find out where it was exactly so you can replicate it. I'm using an S4.

Are you able to control the touch part to identify a long finger press? I've just been looking at the weight / rep input page. Not sure this is possible but here goes.
Space out the ___ Kg & ____ Reps so when a finger is over the Kg or Reps text the values in the textbox can be seen. Just like a long press in the textbox to get paste, holding the "Kg" will activate an invisible (or visible) slider so moving the finger up will increase and down will decrease the value. There wouldn't be a change to the UI just giving the Kg and Reps text a little functionality.
