Whether this is your child’s very first day of school or they are heading back to school, it’s an important day for our kids.

A new grade level, new classroom, new teacher, new friends. And for some – a new school building.

To help my kids feel excited and think positively about going back to school, I like to celebrate it in a very simple way – by documenting it.

Do your kids ask for a snack the minute they walk in the door after school? Mine do! Some days it feels like all they request are snacks. I figure if I am buying a bunch of snacks, I might as well buy ones that help support their elementary school.

I also like to offer a variety of grab and go snacks as well as make them special treats such as this easy yogurt parfait.

Looking for fun printable learning activities for preschool and kindergarten aged children?

My kids love center time at school. They got super excited when I mentioned setting up centers at home for them over summer break.

Our free printable Fairy Tale workbook is perfect for a homeschool writing center or to use in a preschool or kindergarten classroom.

Do you love to play board games with your family, but find the kids lose focus if the game is too long? Or you struggle to find kid-friendly games that are also fun for adults?

We play a lot of games at our house, some are longer and some are super quick. The best part about fast games is being able to play again immediately.

Since I know what it’s like to need quick, fun games, I wanted to share some of our favorite board games that are perfect for family game night or any night!

Are your kids fascinated by the ocean? Have they ever asked how deep it is?

This ocean zone density jar science activity is a fun and engaging way to teach kids about the ocean layers. It’s a great visual, allowing them to see the difference between ocean zones.

This activity uses regular household supplies and is perfect for a classroom or homeschool science lesson or as part of an ocean study unit.

Kids love playing games, and this Human Body Printable Bingo Cards set is a great way to get them learning while having fun. My kids like playing Bingo because they love shouting out BINGO at the top of their lungs.

Doing so with a fun printable like this is a great way to teach them about body parts all while having fun.

Picture this: your oldest child outgrew all of their pants overnight and your youngest child just declared they will no longer wear anything containing the color green.

They both need clothes, but there aren’t any good sales right now and you don’t know when you can take both of them shopping.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if there was a way for personally styled outfits that cost less than retail to show up at your doorstep?
