Natalie Grise joined the WLKY News Team in January 2012, as a morning traffic reporter. Growing up in Louisville, Natalie’s family always turned to WLKY for local coverage, and it’s been a dream come true for her to return home to work at a station which helped inspire her to venture into broadcasting.
Natalie began her career at KPLC in Lake Charles, Louisiana, where she was an anchor and reporter. From Lake Charles, Natalie moved to Toledo, Ohio, where she anchored sports and reported from the sidelines of University of Toledo and Bowling Green State University football games. In Toledo, she covered multiple sporting events, including high school state championships, Big-10 and MAC football games, and the professional teams in Cleveland and Detroit.
Natalie is a proud to call Louisville home. She is a graduate of Atherton High School and Western Kentucky University, graduating early with honors, while double majoring in Broadcasting and Political Science. During her time at WKU, she earned multiple Associated Press awards for her work with the campus television station.
