I got my first tattoo here last December by Gina Niemi, I had been texting her for weeks about what my friend and I wanted and I told her I could only get it this one specific date because I don't live close to Portland and neither does my friend. The day of, I texted her about an hour before I was scheduled and asked if we could come in early because we had finished everything we wanted to do earlier than we thought. She texted me back and said she had no idea who I was and told me to call the shop, long story short, the shop manager didn't write me into the schedule. So she had to scramble to get my tattoo drawn up and my friend didn't have enough time to get her tattoo from Gina since she was going to be working on mine, so another artist in the shop started working on her design, (Nate). Nate did a beautiful piece on my friend so no complaints with him. Gina rushed through my tattoo and halfway through said "Yeah everything will be fine as long as I'm out of here by 4:30" which it was almost 5, so she proceeded to rush more. I got a white teacup and this was my first tattoo so I had no clue how things worked, she told me how she had to "pack" in the white, and went over it several times. Afterwards my leg was leaking plasma everywhere and I could hardly walk. The walking pain increased over the next week to absolute excruciating throbbing pain any time I put my leg down. I thought I was having some kind of allergic reaction because my tattoo was scabbing up with a very thick and really grotesque looking scab. Eventually I realized she had worked the absolute life out of my skin and when the scab fell off weeks later, the tattoo underneath was bright pink and scarred. After a couple more weeks the owner of the shop offered to redo it for free. He was very confident that he understood the style I wanted but it ended up being very uneven and it looked very sloppily done. I appreciate him offering to fix it, but it was not what I wanted. As of now, months later I have gotten it done for a 3rd and final time by a lovely artist in San Marcos, TX who captured everything that I wanted finally. If I could include pictures I would love to show the different stages of my tattoo and how much money and pain this thing caused me. Research your artists!

Hello Rachael, We want to apologize for the negative experience you had here at our shop. We strive to uphold a structured environment and provide the best tattoo possible that fits the style you are looking for. We are deeply regretful that this was not the experience you had with us. Both Gina and the previous manager no longer work here anymore and we now have a full crew of artists who hold up the values of our shop. Feel free to contact us anytime as we very much want to make this right for you. Thank you for your honest feedback. We will be taking the steps to ensure this does not happen again. Have a wonderful day

absolute loved this place from the moment I walk in. The staff were so helpful and friendly and made me feel comfortable from the start. I had a small difficult piece I needed to be done on a bad scar and wanted a pacific drawing and the front desk lady suggested I look at Taylor's book. So decided to meet with her on consultation and her personality is great very skill. My piece turned out amazing, she so fast and the works show her skills. I found a new great tattoo artist Taylor.

Great experience and awesome tattoo. Was a little worried not seeing a full sketch before the session but that worry was totally unfounded; Taylor's work was even better than what I had imagined going in.

My two best friends & I went in and had our work done by John - he was awesome! Not only is it all extremely clean, and his work AWESOME - he was fun & personable. We had a great time, and walked out very happy with our new tats. Thanks John! I'll be back I'm sure! :)
