It’s a well-known fact that wealthy people tend to lean right-wing on politics.

What has not been so well understood is why. There seems to be two main hypotheses: Do the wealthy and powerful tend to favor right-wing politics out of their own self-interest, e.g. voting for lower taxes to preserve their wealth? Or do right-wing values — like emphasizing the importance of self-reliance — make people more likely to become rich?

The deal will also transform the debate over network neutrality regulation. Officially, Comcast's deal with Netflix is about interconnection, not traffic discrimination. But it's hard to see a practical difference between this deal and the kind of tiered access that network neutrality advocates have long feared. Network neutrality advocates are going to have to go back to the drawing board.

Uh oh:

David Wildstein, a high school friend of Mr. Christie’s who was appointed with the governor’s blessing at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, which controls the bridge, described the order to close the lanes as “the Christie administration’s order” and said “evidence exists as well tying Mr. Christie to having knowledge of the lane closures, during the period when the lanes were closed, contrary to what the governor stated publicly in a two-hour press conference” three weeks ago.

Horrible experience. Brokers do not return calls and apparently cannot even contact insurance companies to complete policies. I had to call another broker literally on the closing day to get insurance so i could pick up the keys to my new home (which they were able to complete within an hour, something Cambridge Insurance wasn't able to do in a week).

Great family run business. They even gave me my own blue laundry bag to make the drop offs quicker! And as far as i can tell they're the cheapest in the area.

Went for lunch. Got the spaghetti carbonara, it was fairly bland with probably only one strip of bacon in the carbonara. The other dishes my companions had looked far better.

Went there for Father's Day. Just an awful experience throughout. It began with the seating. The table we were at was unbalanced and noticeably wobbly. Ordered the Father's Day special. At least half the dishes were obviously cooked ahead of time, because they came to the table cold (or only heated on the outside with the inside still cold). The dishes came in an disorganized order, so food that obviously should have gone together came at odd times. Our drinks were late, and had to repeated ask over and over again for them to be made/brought to the table. When they did arrived, they were very bland (my mango shake didn't even taste like mango). We were a table of 6, and when we ordered hot sauce, they brought tiny little serving of hot sauce. We had to reordered the hot sauce like 6 times. This was a banquet meal, and we were only given 1 tiny napkin each, and again, asking for more they would only bring a couple each time. And the kicker? Tips is calculated on the receipt automatically. POOR SERVICE. POOR FOOD. POOR EXPERIENCE.

Fantastic hole in the wall place. Good value for awesome food... not much more than what it would cost at Taco Bell, but good authentic food (not that i don't like Taco Bell). Highly recommend it!
