A gorgeous boat! This immaculate Salcombe Yawl was seen at Stones Boatyard in Salcombe earlier this month. Originally built in 1952 and was restored By Stones Boatyard in 2008 to a very high standard. She is known to be very competitive in her racing class.

Industry tip of the week - Make sure you sea trial before you buy, as we frequently see powerboats that are bought on sight without being tried and have problems.
You wouldn’t buy a car without driving it would you?
Like a car, just starting it up on the drive doesn’t tell you anything. If the owner won’t arrange a test run best leave well alone.

Another happy Marine Techniques customer : I believe that your surveyor has done his job very thoroughly and we are satisfied with the result. The report has made us reconsider because of the water in the hulls, but if we decide to buy, I will contact you again to arrange repairing as you suggested.
