I am a native New Yorker and will keep to the directness of how we are known to be :) Food: Excellent Must have the pulled pork quesadilla! Drinks: Excellent Space: Very spacious. Back is great for private events, but the DJ will overpower your event. Have a mic pack/hand held mic. Great place for launch parties. DJ: Good Crowd: 20 somethings Scene: A mix of artsy and casual laid-back crowd. Not very packed and people seem to stay with in their booth. So, not very conducive to meeting people.

The website says they open at four p.m. but they open at five. While the mojitos were crowd-pleasers, the beef & shrimp taco appetizers weren't winners. The meat in the beef tacos was chewy, the shrimp was on the small side. One of the appetizers is called a cheese plate ($8_ but in actuality is more like a gussied up bowl of cheez-whiz with some bread fixings.

This is a good venue for private parties. It is big and allows free entrance. Besides, the drinks are surprisingly reasonably priced. The only downside is that it is so loud and dark that you could hardly find or talk to people. You do need to come here early because it gets really packed past 12AM. I did enjoy most of the music they played here although I think the DJ was a little inconsistent and played some crappy songs in between on a Saturday night.
