Now this is the kind of bar you'd see the cast of Mad Men at. Dark, red, asian influences, lots of wood and absolutely out of this world cocktails that are classy and flavorful. The ambiance is classy and warm, but not intimidating; the most apt word to describe this place is cool, not with it's modern meaning, but in the way James Dean would have meant it.

Amazing cocktails!! A bit spicy and warm: all you need in the winter... + there are some appetizers. The place is low lighted: perfect for date or meetings with friends.

Cocktails and more cocktails, there is plenty to choose from here. The atmosphere is very laid back and the big band/jazz music was a nice touch

Very nearly perfect, uncomfortable ruminations on colonialism aside. If you aren't careful, you can end up unintentionally spending the greater part of evening here, having only stopped in for "just a drink." The seafaring inspired drinks in particular are fiendishly addicting, and the effortless appeal of the decor will make you forget that each askance look is meant to dissuade you from smugly slinking further into your chair. You're no young Ian McKellen, mind you.

This is a great place to take a date or a business client. Their drinks are amazing and their small plates are perfect. The atmosphere is vibrant but quiet enough that you can hold a meaningful conversation without having to raise your voice. This is my go to spot when it is just me plus one.

Great on Sunday and Mondays when there's almost nobody there, lots of space, amazing cocktails and pretty good food. Fantastic date spot on those times. Way too busy on Thu-Sat. :-)
