Attended a rehearsal of the New York Philharmonic Symphony today

They are amazingly good, even when their conductor still thinks they have work to do ! :)

I got the chance to attend because our choir is doing a performance in June which will be preserved in the Philharmonic Archives. As a result, they invited all the singers to attend a rehearsal performance of the symphony free-of-charge. I was astounded to hear Beethoven's Piano Concerto #2 in B-Flat Major. Absolutely magnificent.

He is RISEN! He is risen INDEED!
The flowers at the The Riverside Church this Easter were absolutely spectacular. What a beautiful setting in which to be inspired and feel rescued.

Facebook reminded me of this grocery trip near disaster!
When I was in SF, I biked everywhere. I got really good at using the bike for transportation and even for hauling all manner of things. This was a light grocery day, but as you can see, by the time I got home to the parking garage of my apartment, things had shifted a bit. Makes me laugh everytime I see this picture. How close I was to spewing grocery items all over Folsom Street. :)

The Easter Parade
A long-time tradition in NYC, people once left their palatial churches along Fifth Avenue, dressed in all their finery, to be seen strolling along the avenue. These days, it looks a bit more like a (mostly) straight Gay Pride parade with comical, eccentric costumes. It's a lot of fun to walk the parade route and see the people posing for photos with tourists.
Between 49th & 57th Street, the best setting to watch from is in front of Rockefeller Center or St. Patrick's Cathedral.

Problem with Conditional Formatting in Sheets
I'm having trouble getting my entire row to change color using conditional formatting based on a condition. The strange thing is the first column changes and the 4th column changes color, but the rest do not. I have no idea why that would happen. I'm attaching photos to show what I've done and see if anyone might have an idea.
I'm showing the result, the conditional formatting rules I have defined and the specifics of the first one. Why doesn't the entire row change to yellow?

3 Years ago The Great Wall of China

I finished an assignment in Dalian, China, working on a complex implementation - jumping 15 years ahead in software technology and reeducating a workforce of 30 or 40 people. The people were unbelievably nice and helpful. The country was the most "foreign" place I've ever visited. My visit to the Great Wall was part of my 5 day stay in Beijing before returning to the US.
The weather was beautiful. My student guide, and his family, spent the whole day with me and he got to practice his English. Lots of locals kept asking to take their pictures with me - I think I may have been the first white person most of them had ever seen.
