Interested in data security? Then Absolute Software has an event you don't want to miss - an Ask Me Anything (AMA) with with renowned cybercrime expert, Stephen Treglia: http://lanyrd.com/2014/absolutecorp. This AMA begins at 10am PDT on Thursday, July 24 in the Absolute Software LinkedIn group.

A respected cybercrime prosecutor, Stephen helped create and served as the head of one of the U.S.' first technology crime units. In his AMA, Stephen will be deconstructing a high-profile data breach, and share the phases of impact that can occur even years after the event. He'll also be taking questions live about data security and how you can avoid becoming the next data breach headline.

Stephen's AMA is free and open to the public, however, membership in the Absolute Software LinkedIn group is required to submit questions. Joining the group is fast and easy; become a member today at: http://bit.ly/Absolute-LinkedIn

This is a great chance to go one-on-one with cybercrime expert Stephen Treglia, so mark your calendar now.

How much do you know about Alzheimer's Disease? Did you know it's a killer? Or that it affects 5,000,000 people annually? Or that every 67 seconds someone in the United States develops this terrible disease?

You can help! Join the good folks at Compute Against Alzheimer's Disease (CAAD) by donating your unused computing time now: http://bit.ly/JoinCAAD.

What does "donate your unused computing time" mean? Simple: CAAD is looking to crowdsource computer processing power by getting people to download their Frontier Compute Engine. When your machine is sitting idle, this app will allow CAAD to use that processing power. By leveraging this unused computer processing power, researchers will be able to perform computing-intensive procedures (analysis and modeling, for example) that they couldn't otherwise do because of cost and time.

The CAAD app is small, unobtrusive, and isn't tracking your every move online; it only runs when your computer is idle. The app works on Windows, Linux, and OSX-based computers, and is free and available for download now at: http://bit.ly/CAAD-App.

This is a terrible disease that affects millions of people worldwide. Please help us speed up research into this debilitating condition by joining CAAD now.
