Sundarban weekend tour package

Sundarbans is the World largest mangrove wetlands of which two – third is lands and one – third is water bodies forms of river, canal and creeks. total 6017 Sq.km in Bangladesh part only accessible by water transport which has availability of accommodation, food, security and staff to provide the service during stay inside the forest. visitors can join in the weekend package tours or rent a boat with food for 3 or 4 days from Khulna / Mongla.

Expeditions to the Sundarbans wildlife estuaries by air
The Sundarbans world heritage sites – home to magnificent animal on land is Royal Bengal Tiger, spotted deer, wild boars, macaque, barking deer, jungle and fishing cat, otters, water monitor and snakes.
there are 290 species of birds and mostly seen are – pond heron, purple heron, egrets, cattle egrets, greater egret, open billed stork, smaller adjutant stork, brahmini kite, fish eagle, magpie robin, jungle moyna, bulbul, wood peckers, bea eater, leaf bird, 9 species of kingfisher, drongo, racket tallied drongo, rose ringed parakeet, dove, parrot, mangrove pitta, and crow.
The word Sundarban means ‘beautiful forest’. It is a immeasurable area in the Ganges delta comprising a network of 108 swampy, two-third low-lying landmass amidst one- third water bodies of 450 river, canal and creeks, mainly fresh water flows north to south direction and sediments deposited in the delta covered with enormous brackish mud flats contain 28 species true mangrove plants boast of a variety of flora and diversified faunal array to bring an unequaled diverse wildlife.
