Ambiance needs a little help, but the food is awesome. It is like India meeting up with Greece. Very good. Vegan choices are good, too!

We went for the gluten-free food, and will definitely return. The burger and kabobs were great. The decor is not nearly as quirky as paper moon, nor is it high class, but we had fun guessing the mostly-famous Baltimoreans in the mural. Service was excellent and personal.

Wow! For the first time in 22 years I had a hamburger (a DELISH burger) on a bun. I have to say I enjoyed the service and the food very, very much. Plus, it's next door to Sweet Sin Bakery so the whole family (all 10 of us) walked next door and had yummy cupcakes for dessert. It was waaaay too hot that day, but the staff was putting fans on us and trying hard to keep us cool. Great place. Will def go back

Delicious food, especially if you love a little spice! No worries though, plenty of offerings if you need it on the milder side too:-) Not nearly enough restaurants serve up plantains, and their sweet potato fries are amazing. You must try their chocolate mousse. Perfect for a quiet dinner or catch up time with girlfriends. I love the fact that they support the local arts too!

I had to find a gluten free place for my trip to Baltimore and this came up. It is in an area that is very similar to the Fan District of Richmond, VA and was pretty easy to find. The service was pretty fast and was good (I think the server we had was brand new but he did a great job). We all got their classic burger and WOW it was good and the gluten free roll it was on was great and did not fall apart like a lot of GF products do. Their fries were really good, i think they were breaded in a chickpea flour which gave it a great crunchy skin (my dad who hates anything with chickpea even loved these). The only thing I was weary about was that when asked the host said not everything was gluten free but the servers said it was. I did not see anything on the menu that would not be gluten free and with the fact that hey have an attached shop that sells GF cupcakes and the like I am pretty confident in their ability to do true, safe gluten free food. It is only about a 10-15 min drive from the inner harbor and totally worth the trip. I will be going back next time I am in Baltimore for sure!

I tried the place to see if it was gluten-free, rice-free and soy-free for my wife, and the atmosphere is great (don't go overdressed, the a/c is optional), they have the BYOB (Bring Your Own Beer) protocol in place, which is interesting for those who drink, and if you are tall, beware: Sit slowly, or you will hit your knee on the solid wood of the table. I recommend the empanadas, and the portobello burger.

Been there twice. Both times the food was excellent. No more to say, I will be a regular. It rivals Brewers Art in both taste and quality, but at a somewhat lower price.
